Smoking since 1985, Vaping since 1989!

...1989??? Yeah, ok... we didn't have NIC juice to vape back then, so we made do with something else to "vape!" nuff said

I had tried e-cigs about 3 years ago... 2-3 hour battery life, refill constantly, very small hits, what a hassle. Tried more powerful batteries, new juices from Johnson Creek, etc... Tried for 2-3 months. Switched back to rolling my own real cigs. Last year diagnosed with emphysema, and quit with the patch for 5 months! Slipped and was sucked back to a pack a day within a few days- tried patch a few times since, no help now- I love nicotine! I Love to smoke, but hate it for killing me!

2 weeks ago I saw my Pit Boss (work at a smokey casino) smoking a BLU disposable. Tons of e-smoke. Looked like an OLD E-Cigar amount of Vapor!

I went out and bought a BLU dispoable- WOW! I was off smokes again (until it ran out 2 days later... Back to smoking- looked at our local TOBACCO retailer- they had the ENCORE starter kit, nothin from BLU... oh well, picked up the ENCORE- got home- Wait- this is the same low tech battery I had before. I pulled out my old E-cigs, and sure enough, the same threads- just different cartomizers now. Batteries lasted about 2-3 hours after 2-3 days. I emailed the company, they will accept it returned for a refund. SUPER BUMMED!

So I Wanted to Vape instead of reg cigs, but the disposable BLU's are $9 each here ($5 a day is not worth it. I can roll my own for $1.50 a day.)
BUT NOBODY sells E-pipes or E-cigars around Burnsville MN (That I found so far) so I went online...
Ebay is where I bought my old ones- couldn't find any (Must have banned them?)
Researched bunches of Forums, and YouTube all weak- looked at BOX-MODS- BEST VAPES, etc.

Since I'm a heavy smoker, I went with the best starter kit (according to ALL the reviews I've seen on this monster)-

Joye eGo-T 1000mAh Type-B MEGA USB Starter Kit
Joye Menthol High 30ml
Has both LR atomizer and regular! USB Pass through!
EXPRESS MAIL! (I need this thing YEARS AGO!) all for under $100.

GoodEJuice's is even throwing in a sample bottle of the ICE MENTHOL (Extra High NIC). I talked to ?John/Tom? on the phone today =) He called it the "THROAT FREEZER!"

If this doesn't get me off the PACKS I don't know what will.
Hoping this will be a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!
And to All a good Vape!

Hiya Rice!

Welcome to the asylum.

Pit should be along here pretty soon to greet you and give you your formal wear!

I lived in Burnsville (and surrounding burbs) for most of my life before I moved to Florida.....is it still changing like crazy?

Not a bad choice...80 bucks for a 1000mah starter kit seems a bit high but better then the rip offs out there..

I've been dealing cards since 1998 (about 6 years after they opened) and it's extremely hard to quit when you have 6 or 7 people on your table smoking cigs, and blowing smoke at you all night long. They give us little personal fans, but it doesn't help much.
I love dealing and love gambling, but don't gamble very often (been maybe 3 times this year- under $100 most times I go). It's fun to be in the environment without forking out gobs of money- instead they PAY ME! It's awesome!

Well, if you're a dealer at Mystic Lake, I was one of the first Casino employees to be hired there.....(badge #0789), back when it was just Little Six.

I got to watch Mystic Lake be built from the inside out, and I still have some friends there. One of which is a close friend and I'm absolutely sure that you know him, assuming you're at Mystic, as he's a floor supervisor.
