Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself. Have been using e-cigs now for just over a month and getting on really well with them as I have now stopped smoking conventional cigs completely after 49 years of "the weed"

Does anyone know of a full "list" anywhere with types against suppliers? I simply can't believe that that many e-cigs out there are completely incompatible with each other... In many cases, like TW, they are easily identifiable because of numbers like 510 for example but in others, like the "Advanced Pro 2" of NuCIG fame, they have no type numbers at all but are very similar to those supplied by others.

I would appreciate any pointers...

Colin

Hi everyone!

First, my apologies for posting my question in the general area instead of the noobs area.

Second, I'm happy to be here! I just got my first e-cig in the mail today. It's a green smoke. I am in LOVE!

Ahh..my apologies. Sorry if what I posted was misleading to anyone.

I saw this on their website and made the assumption there was no warranty....

Guarantee

We normally offer a 28 day warranty on the atomizing unit, on our Multi-Packs each atomizer works out at less than $7. Therefore we offer no warranty on this item. The atomizers however are exactly the same as the single units we sell.

No problem - they really will ONLY replace DOAs if notified straight away. I always test multipack items from anyone on arrival...

Hello Everyone..New to the forums as of today. I have been working on a website for the locals to purchase and order the Joye510 and supplies online (local as in Maine) I wouldnt mind getting some of the national market as well but for now feedback on how it presents and if I left anything out that should be on the site. I am getting things together and have a small stock now but will be blowing some doors off in the next week. Please visit the site at home thanks again.

They can be a bit of a sneaky bunch... usually its a week or so of nail biting (Usually you find find a order/packages status by tracking it.), and reading on the"EMS" or "USPS" website "Handed over to US Customs" it probably was inspected and seized.

The tricky part is waiting about a month for the FDA to contact you, otherwise your in limbo to its status and you can't get any information on it. I know, I've tried. Then another ordeal of claims and disputes follow...

Wait!...I'm getting way off topic for sure here...but after several shipments gone "south", time lost and thousands of $ gone, I consider my experiences learning experiences. Perhaps others can learn from them and don't need to share in my early mistakes.

Start a new thread about this and I may post or PM me. 'nuff said.

thursday I ordered a Joye 510 starter kit from Anycig.com. A China based company, I got the cooper one with the purple LED and a pack of blank carts.I also ordered 50 ml of menthol Juice from light in the box again in china. Would have ordered form the states but couldn't find one that was in stock. heres hoping customs skips over my package..

I have watched You tube on care and techinique and how to fill the carts, how to change the packing with Fluval or polyfil...(my thought polyfil would last FOREVER those bags are HUGE) I have read almost all the posts here and Rocketman Thanks for all the advice!

This time I quit for good! I have done the patch (itched myself raw allergy to the adhesive) , the gum (rather chew on a shoe),The lozenges (EWWW), St Johns wort (that was trip to the dr GIANT hives), Zyban (the dreams ARGH) Chantix twice (my stomach couldn't take a third time), the little plastic vapr thing with menthol carts (sucking air was as much fun) and now this...Please be the one thing that lets me quit for good.
I loved not smoking but there was always the stress of some new Drama that made go back..
I hope this will really get me there.

Ok so if I have missed anything or there is a really big secret that I have not found after all my research...Tell me now..

Absolutely...about two drops at at time, repeat as necessary.

PTB... do a search.

(I find it to be a really great cartridge filler for 510's)

Fluval, like Stehle said, do a search.

Straight dripping on the atty (901 & 510) served me well until I just got tired of the process.

Fluval installed correctly will allow you to drain your cart 75-80 %. Great wicking properties.

If you decide to drip for awhile check this out:

OK, might be Drippers Dream...

Hello Everyone. Randy here from SC. I smoked Marlboros for 30 years until 5 months ago when I got a 510. It's been a life saver for me. I had to stop smoking in order to have surgery or the doc wasn't gonna do it. I'm sure glad I did too. I've got me a Silver Bullet on order from Altsmoke which should be here anytime now. I can hardly wait. 6v vaping at it's best. Everyone in this business that I've dealt with so far has been super to do business with. I've never waited any longer than about 4 or 5 days on anything yet. Everyone seems to genuinely care. Good Luck to everybody and I'll be around.

Welcome to Vapeatron Randyc; check out some of the threads that look interesting and jump in anytime. Glad you got off the tobacco. I quit in June when I got my 510, had knee replacement surgery last month, and according to doctors and physical therapy folks, have set records for recovery. Really, switching to vaping was one of the best things I've ever done for myself! Nice to hear you've had such good experiences so far; I have, too. Let us know how you like your Silver Bullet when it comes in.

Also, welcome to CPN and Jessa who came on board the middle of the month. Hope you'll be checking back in with us occasionally. CPN, I've seen several posts discussing ecig names vs models. Check out the e-cigarette models on the forum listing page; various model names and some compatibility information is listed there. The 510 has lots of names (Yeti, Titan, Cylon, Joye510, Janty Dura) depending on the vendor but they're all basically the same. Usually if you ask about a specific name, someone can tell you what model it is and hopefully, that information gets added to the specific model thread. Jessa, there's been a lot of positive feedback about the greensmoke lately.... or maybe that was the greencig.... and I don't think they are the same; somebody identified the model on one of them just this week. Anyway, welcome! This is a great forum; lots of friendly people.

Glad to hear randy! I'm 110 days tobacco cigarette free and so glad I am. I smoked a pack and a half a day camels and parliments for 22 years.

Isn't it great to be able to still smoke and get your smeller and taster back?

Hi all,

I'm new to this site and fairly new to ecigs. Found my first one at the mall in New Hampshire. Paid way too much for it but it was a start and now I'm finding all kinds of makes and models to choose from. Learning to use eliquid in empty carts instead of prefilled carts. I really didn't stop analog cigs until a few days ago and find I really don't want one. I'm hoping that the ecigs stay around for a long time to come.

Have a question about the model J118, does anyone have any info on them?

Would like to know how the J118 compares to the Joye 510 with regards to throat hit, is it smoother than the 510? Are any of the parts interchangeable with the 510 or other ecig models?
