| I just ordered a new wireless D-Link router from there, my old Linksys is getting really tired, plus getting conflicts with other devices so I figured it's time to upgrade.

I personally like their Optiplex 745 & 755 (SFF's) as they're commercial grade machines and their spare parts are DIRT CHEAP! Not to mention how small they are....
They're also called "All-in-One" if you get an SFF with an LCD, like this one:
But they're built to last!
You can pick up a really nice machine for a ridicules price these days. | Those were good ones, if you got one that didn't have the faulty capacitor problem.
Made a LOT of money on THAT one. Usually see these in Dr's Offices.

Geeez Steam, you should be able to get Bikes a killer deal, huh?
I had a chance to get one of the all in ones (USFF) with 24" LCD, refurbed, 3 years ago for a mere $100 shipped!
But I passed on it cuz I was broke...(as usual). KICKING MYSELF NOW, THOUGH!! |

| I am totally unlearned on computers. I'm fairly sure I would have to have assistance to get anything up and running. Took about an hour to set up my outlook on this Dell and that's after I figured out what my smtp and pop server addresses were. Spent Thanksgiving running windows securities, spybot, and AVG on the old desktop, lot of fun when it crashes every hour or so.
Didn't do any good.

Didn't do any good. | Steam would have it 100% plug-n-play ready for you, Bikes!
Love these machines, they're so small and VERY powerful!
Plus their upgrades are just ridicules....
Saw a 4GB ram upgrade on eBay today for a couple bucks, brand new chips, just unbelievable!!
The local libraries here use these machines, and like Steam says, these are usually only found in businesses.
They're really a solid product IMHO. |

And I came out with an A grade! LOL | I got 4 of them from the town of <CENSORED > and grabbed some similar caps out of old mobos and soldered them in. That was 3 years ago. And, they run on 12V...

My D800 that's been going non-stop for about 5 years now....not a dead pixel anywhere and it's never failed on me!
I dunno what it is about Dell's refurbs, but dayem, these thing just never die! And I mean I've really beat on this thing over the years. Heck, the letters on my keyboard are either shiny and smooth or completely worn OFF!
I've purchased NEW ones that crap out in a few years, but I've had extremely good luck with their refurbs!!
Anyways, good to know where to go for expert advise.... |
