I've considered trying this out despite not being a smoker. Is this something any other non-smokers have taken up? If so, how have you taken to it?

I am an ex-smoker (a number of years ago) and I have no real desire to smoke cigarettes but I am interested in the health benefits from something like this (so mostly nicotine free or super light nicotine).

I dunno if there are any "benefits". There was an article posted by a user on E-cigtest.com called TropicalBob mentioning the potential benefits of being exposed to propylene glycol in the air. But that doesn't directly apply here. Taking it in, in hot large amounts, may be negative, even with 0 mg nicotine.

BUT, if you want to use it causally at a bar or event in place of fighting the urge for cigs, it couldn't hurt. Basically, use it only if it wont start you down the path to smoking tobacco or nicotine again.

Yeah, using this at a bar with 0 nicotine could have some great benefits if it helps you pick up women. Not sure about the health benefits though.

I tried the 0mg cart and it still tasted and hit like a real cigarette. You're still taking a foreign substance into your lungs so I can't see any "benefit" from it, but it's a suitable alternative if you need to go through the motions.

Death metal...the more unreadable your logo is the better your band probably sounds.

I wasn't aware of the limits of the health benefits. I'm probably better off staying away since my wife will then want to pick it up and she does still have serious urges to pick cigarettes back up which I have made clear she is not to do.

This is the problem with people selling these things claiming they have no chemicals or cacinogens when it's simply not true... Here's some info compiled by someone at ecf that's worth looking over MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

Yeah, I think an important thing about e-cigs is to research research research. Once you dig deeper you can learn a lot, but entities like SmokingEverywhere put up a huge cloud of misinformation that you have to cut through. >.<

But like others said, this is still the direct inhalation of an abnormal substance and bears the risks commonly found therein. If you're cool with that then there ya go, but if that's what you wanted to avoid then it might be a better idea to skip it.
