First impression: WOW! Yup, definitely what I would have done! Nothing beats the output from a BIG battery, and I am using the 14500 No Ego with an AW14670 stuffed inside Getting full voltage and kicking my butt!

If there were one thing I would change it's probably the gauge of the aluminum. It feels a little light at first, but when you stuff a battery in it it takes on a more 'full bodied' heft to it. The switch is a really magnificent piece, with a blue LED in it to let you know the function. It blinks three times when you install a battery, lights up when you hit it, and blinks when the charge goes low. The recepticle for the 510 style atomizer looks like a well made piece, and feels like a well made piece. It has Romaniac's logo on it, which I think I will cover with some of the polyurethane spray I use on my photos to make sure the logo stays. For a first impression, I am impressed.

I think my mod making days are over, save my DC powered mods for my car...

Romaniac, apparently my browser is not compatible with your shopping cart. I have tried to take advantage of your siamese NoEgo special for a week and to order some dualcoils. Is the $50 special still available and can I contact Laurie about money order and snail mail like I did before?

Anyone tried the Ego T adapter for the NoEgo? I'm getting ready to order one each of Romaniac's products, and one each for a friend who just started vaping and loves it. Looking at the adapter too, because my friend is really interested in the Ego Tank type setup.

Bikes, your package will be in the mail tomorrow. Romaniac's products sound like winners don't they? He is doing what I wanted to do. Man I wish I'd known about vaping 3 years ago. I can tell you what I'd be doing for a living.

Ditta that. What 14500 type batts would you recommend? I have the 18650 3000mah batts already, but need to order the smaller ones.

Try internet explorer, and if that does not work send money order: $50 for one 14500 and one 18650. $14 for mega dual coils (5 in a box), and $6.99 for shipping with delivery confirmation. To:
please specify how many boxes of mega cartomizers, and do you need an adapter for Ego or Ego-T atomizer?

If you don't like it send it back I'll refund you the money-- no need to wonder. It only works for 14500 NoEgo, the 18650 will only need the 510-510 extension that comes with the adapter kit, no ring necessary.

14650 protected batteries is what we use and we are very happy with them.

Hmmm....I have been having good luck with the AWs, but they are a bit pricey. I needed a 14670, and they were $15 at the time! They are now around $10. I usually check Battery Junction, or another one I can't remember right now.

A lot of people like the Trustfires, but I go with the AWs or Tenergys. The Tenergys are used a lot in laptop arrays. Also, Panasonic makes good Li Ions, but I don't know if they are protected.

Once again, kids! DON'T use unprotected batteries in an unprotected mod!!!!

Thanks Mo appreciate your consideration. The 14650 NoEgos are great, just gave a set up to my kid so thought it best to replace it.
Romaniac, thank you I'll contact your customer service to get details.

You are quite welcome. Where do you get your 14650's? Madvapes?

Yes,tried those first and never got around to trying 14500s of which I have a dozen.
As I said previously, the noegos are a great product.

the 14650 trust fires and multi function charger from madvapes work great and the charger has independent charging circuits so you can charge one solo as well as take a bunch of different sizes up to 18650's (for the bigger and better one) and can take a 5v wall wart or plug in directly..very nice set up..works great on the noego..I know JJ posted a bettery chart (pun intended) and there may be better batteries out there as well too...Im still kinda surprised steam was able to get a 14740 in there..the 14650s are pretty tight as it is and it can be difficult threading the switch back on under this spring applied tension..surely don't want to cross thread this aluminum....

You may have a problem using the 14500 bats if the spring was over compressed by the 14740. Just a thought!

I second that! The 14650s are a tight fit and like berger said, can be difficult threading back on.

And I have just confirmed foreshortened base spring after using the 14670 batts and that a dental pick hook will stretch the spring enough to use the 14500 batts.
