| Man..I tried that with some white ones and it was like trying to get flys off fly paper undamaged...just left body parts all over the place..glue and paper everywhere...it was a really hideous mess...guess the black is different..

| I dunno. That was the first and only one I ever peeled off. I don't mind black, so I just use them as they are.
Maybe I was just lucky.
The one I peeled off was new, if it had been used (heated up), perhaps it wouldn't have come off so easily. | |

| I had some new white ones I wanted to use in the tanks..(ordered SS got white somewhere else...go figure)..unfortunately the stickered ones just plain would not fit..well maybe with a hammer but that didnt seem like such a hot idea...

| well yes but..it left all kinds of glue an white pieces but I was able to get it in there...pretty hideous looking but it worked..LOL

I had ordered you black but you were sent white. I have a very hard time getting the black ones off too. So, not worth it. Even WD-40 had a hard time getting that stuff off. And freezing them or getting them hot does not help in removing that tape. Yes, very hideous mess, the last time I attempted it, I used sandpaper after get much of it off and still had a hard time with it. Never again. | |
