LMAO!!!!!

There is a round track near me and sometimes I can hear the races.

When you said drag race, that was my first thought.

It is a small track, so I was wondering how you knew of it!

Not to this track. I used to go to some other tracks around here. I went to see some drivers that I know. A couple of em ran late models and one ran pro street at the drag strip. One went on to Nascar

I've never been to a dirt track race. Even the one near me is a paved track.

The way I see it, if the track is dirt and your gonna use 4 wheels, use an ATV. WooHoo!

That's true. Many if not all of em run dirt tracks for the experience.
When I think of dirt tracks, I think about ATV riding. Slingin' mud, jumpin' hills, riding in creeks to cool off (in summer) and goin home and fixing what you broke on that jump that was too high. LOL
Around here we call 'em tracks but more accurately, they are trails. Much different from racing dirt tracks.

Yeah. 3 wheelers would have you eatin' dirt if you weren't very careful. And who's careful on an ATV?

There's one of those about 2 miles from my house. It's an old track that was in use in the 30's-50's. It's REALLY small...just about big enough to get a Toyota around nicely...

I found it by accident. I think it was around 4:20...

No one there . Everyone went Friday because that's when they have bands.

Friday was a screw-up all the way around. I had to go back and do work I had already done, because not all the parts were shipped together, something else happened that I guess I have successfully suppressed, and then the Big Blizzard turned out to be 2-3 inches. We cancelled the night before at the owner's suggestion, but the place was packed...

But, the owner and the staff and the handful of people that were there really liked us, so they're going to book us for another Friday.

Oh, and the saddest part was, we were REALLY good...
