I'll try not to make a mess. Very nice forum, a little more active than a bunch I'm a member of. Always glad to have somewhere else to talk about PVs.

I'm currently using a Buzz, going to be beta testing the Buzz pro for the next couple of weeks too. I build tanks, and when I get my act together I mod a bit too, mostly VVs.

Cool! Welcome to Vapeatron! We're active mainly because we're a fairly close-knit, marginally dysfunctional family. I'm the registered Grammar Hammer, so if you happen to waiver on your English, expect me to call you out. Additionally, I am fairly hammered right now, so... I will see your Buzz Pro with a buzz of my own and laugh hysterically at how incredibly stupid that joke was.

Grammer ain't going to be an issue with me, unless you take issue with the word "ain't". I've been searching for that proper balance of freedom and respect in forums. ECF is way too nazi moderated, VF is anarchy, and Nu-vapor is a ghost town. I haven't looked yet, is profanity kosher around here?

Grammar is an issue with me, but I do make an exception for "ain't" as long as that useless apostrophe is included. As far a profanity is concerned, PVs are for folks who are 18+ years old. My take: as long as the profanity is tastefully expressed, and not excessively exercised, I don't ducking care.

Moderately so. I'm still trying to figure out if I'm so cheap because of my small amount of Jewish blood, or because I just don't have any damn money.

I've been unemployed for 4+ months, and "surviving" off of angel investors. I feel your pain.

Yup. I pay for my PV stuff by running cooperative orders where people are kind enough to toss a little change my way in grat, and also making blinged out CE2 tanks. Just started that, so there's not any money coming in yet.

Yeah, I've been applying like a mad man on CareerBuilders and Indeed for months to no avail. Lately, I've also tried offering my expertise in English for Asian and American companies alike for technical writing and marketing alike, also to no avail.

Oft-insinuated? Well, at least you're not like Tek. I love the guy like a brother, but reading text like his makes my eyes bleed and my future children mentally disabled.

Live chat is lame. It's like Chat Roulette without the video footage of men, whilst being equally as uneventful.

True, but it mimics actual human interaction as closely as I'd want.

Yeah, I can dig that. The thing is though, folks don't really hold much allegiance to chat rooms these days, and rightfully so. When folks leave, it could be at the drop of a hat, because let's face it... life happens when you're doing something else. So really, a chat room will allot you little more human interaction than if you were to be sitting across the table from someone with ADD.
