When you see a picture that you wanna use, right click on it and select "view image"....

Then copy the URL, open that little icon (in your message window) that looks like a postage stamp with mountains...click on it, then paste the URL into that image field and click "okay".

Click on "preview post" just to make sure you did it correctly and that your wording is where you want it.....and submit your reply.

Or, if you find something on a web site, use [img]

Paste the URL

and then finish with [/img]

IF TEARS COULD BUILD A STAIRWAY

If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane
We would walk right up to heaven
And bring you back again

No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why

Our hearts still ache in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one can ever know

But now we know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store

Since you'll never be forgotten
We pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our hearts
Is where you'll always stay

Vanguard, hope she likes it!

she loves it and so do i. I just got word today that my uncle Larry has passed away. He was an outstanding man. May he rest in peace, I love you Larry! I'm in mourning, thus would explain why I'm drinking on a Wensday night, it kinda helps, but I'm sure I'll feel it in the morning. Hope my Pigcig gets here tomorrow, I'm gonna need it, if not I'm gonna spend a shit ton of money on analogs. Sorry to bring my problems to you guys, but i got rid of all my friends in order to stay away from drugs, so this forum is really all i have other than my fiance. i am new here but i already love all you guys, and i feel the love in return. rock on peeps!

Vanguard you would be surprised at what I went through in the years of youth...nothing I am proud of, However I can not forget the past less I am likely to repeat. By the grace of my higher power I am alive and happy...not in that detached black hole I used to find myself Bro. Always make the next right turn...you will do fine brother!

Sorry to hear about your uncle. We rarely know when our last moments will be, so appreciate and live each day as if it were your last. Life is too short. Separating yourself from smokers, especially in the beginning, is a good idea and you should be steering clear of the drugs anyway. Hang in there.

thanks so much for the support. it just sucks. this is the first death since the suicide of my best friend in 8th grade, but that was so long ago it doesnt bother me much to talk about it anymore. good lord, my fiance called and woke me up at 11 this morning!!! i dont ever sleep in that late >.< and now i have a splitting headache and need a cigarette terribly. drinking is never a good way to mourn, but it helped for at least a little bit last night. i'm not letting this stop me from doing anything i need to do though, i made that mistake last time and followed the downward spiral of depression i have to fight on a daily basis regardless of what's going on anyway. DAMNIT!!!! where's my straight jacket??

I had a good friend that without any warning signs, shot himself on my daughter's birthday. Stay strong and keep on top of your responsibilities.
