| Hey everyone, I just discovered a brand new use for the condoms that come on the 510 cartomizers (At least I think it is new as I have never heard of this idea before anywhere on the forums).
If you like to have a drip tip on your carto for comfort like I do, and you keep your PV in your pocket or your purse, the condom fits right over the top of your drip tips and protects it from any contaminates from getting into the end of your drip tip
This has been a Darth Vapor Public Service Announcement, and now back to your regularly scheduled Banter
(And yes I hit the 24 mg Honey Cured Tobacco from Pink Spot Vapors again )

Thank you very much Yes I was just sitting here thinking and reached over and grabbed one of them and then happened to look at the similarity in size to the drip tip on my Provari so I just threw it on there and it fit like a glove

| Good idea, Devon.
I carry mine in my shirt pocket with my pens... yes, I'm a nerd... so I don't have the same lint problem as the t-shirt and jeans crowd, but good idea none the less. Quote:

I usually carry around some condoms with a hole cut in the end for sample vapes.
Slip it on the carto, sample, throw it away.
Lord knows I've got enough condoms to last a lifetime. |

| LOL Thank you RY4 I am in surprisingly good spirits given the task I am trying to finish right now. I am writing a speech to be given at a memorial remembrance ceremony to remember my good friend and mentor who was killed at the Pentagon on 9/11. As much as it hurts to know I will never be able to choke down another Micky's Grenade with him, I still choke one down on September 11th every year in memory of all the great times we had before he was killed. It is just such an honor to me to be asked to write something in his memory because he was a truly great Man, Friend, Mentor, Father and Sailor and his death cut a lot of people deep into our very core and soul. It is good though to remember all the fun times we had as I write.
Sincerely;

Sincerely; | Oh, now I need to go find my tissue. That is so sad. He sounds like a wonderful person. So many good people died that day. Very very sad. I still cry just seeing movies about it. I think the one that tore me up most was Flight 93. Just ripped my heart out hearing families talk to their loved ones just before they crash the plane so it can't reach it's intend target in DC. |

He was such a great Friend and Mentor. I spent the entire day replaying that morning in my mind. It is something I will never ever forget. I know exactly where I was, what I was doing, and what happened when his picture came up as the first confirmed death at the Pentagon. I was standing in front of my TV still in shock at what I was seeing and then his photo came up and I collapsed and was knocked unconscious by my coffee table. Wifey Brought me around and my Chief called to inform me that I was to stay at home and not come in. So I just sat there in kind of a waking coma/nightmare all day long watching things unfold and getting more and more furious by the minute. It did not take long however for my anger to turn into resolve. My Resolve is unwavering because that is how he would want it to be. He would not want any of us to be angry or vengeful. He would not want us to become like those who took his life. He would want justice to be served in the American way, not the way of terrorists. Because if there is anything that he taught me it is this: "If you become bitter and angry as they are, then they have already Won".
That is part of the speech that I have written thus far, but it helps me to keep strong in my resolve to never ever forget him, or what he blessed this world with in his short time on it.

Just breaks my heart. So very true about the resolve but in the same breath, hard to come to sometimes. But I truly agree and know what you mean. He sounds like such a good person, one the world needs but now so very sadly misses. I am sure your speech and actions would make him proud. I did not lose anyone close to me in 9/11 but remember being at work that day, back when I worked in sales and marketing. Was actually suppose be flying to NYC that morning with my boss, would have been my first trip up north, but he came down with a nasty ear infection the day before and found out he couldn't fly with it. I didn't want to go alone so decided to wait. At work that morning, one of the guys came in and turned on the tv to the news of it. Then within a few hours discovered what was going on. Just ripped my heart out. Then in Sept of 2004, a good friend of mine her cousin Jack Hensley, lived in Marietta, was beheaded and it was posted online. He was an engineer over there helping to rebuild and was killed along with 2 others. Talk about ripping a person's guts out.
Proud of you for writing the speech. I know it can't be easy. Remember the good times and all the good he brought to the world. His actions while he was here will live on forever in all the lives he touched. He has now touched mine in an extend way through touching yours. |
