Yes, definitely would be a good idea. Good luck!

I have never had an atty come like that, but from what I have been reading it should burn off. Now is the burn off safe to inhale you think? Not too sure....

I wasn't suggesting to inhale it. Just puff it off a little before inhaling it
Heck, next to the analogs, it not that bad all things considered

COSMOLINE?!?!?!

Yeeesh! Toyota stopped coating cars in Cosmoline quite a while ago!
Somehow, the idea of vaping that stuff doesn't strike me...

They used to coat Toyotas in Cosmoline because sometimes the salt water would seep into the ships and corrode the cars (1. I would NOT want to be on that ship, and 2. don't Japanese cars corrode enough already, without being primed?!?!)

So, I got the bright idea of Cosmolining my cars. Can't find the stuff. However, between this thread and something someone mentioned on Usenet in a car group, I found some threads on Bar and Chain oil for chainsaws. The oil is mixed with parrafin so that it 'clings' when applied (as one manufacturer said, "avoids flinging".

My '89 Mazda Babe Magnet came from Florida, and I oiled it with hydraulic oil when I bought it, so I'm going to try the bar oil...
