| I have been spending a lot of time reading the forum and trying to find the answer to my questions and so far you guys have all been great! Even though I am new I have found it easy to kid around with the other users(something other forums seem to frown on, alnost like you have to earn your stripes before you are allowed to join in), anyway I have learned a lot already here . So, new questions. 1) I have decided on either the 510 or the Janty mini fogger. I know the 510 is very popular but I have never heard anything about the mini fogger. Has anyone tried it or heard about it?
2)I would prefer a cartomizer as I really like the ease of that and they can be refilled.
3)I would prefer to use the VG based liquid so does anyone have a suggestion as to who is best to buy liquid from that sells the VG?
4) I am interested in using the pass thru with the power pak but I don't know if the pass thru works with every model of ecig or not? Also I read that I should not go above 6volts on the pwoer pak but when I looked on ebay I couldn't see any volts listed, only "APC UB10". Anyone know how to tell what the voltages are?
5) Do I refill used cartridges or do I have to buy empty ones ?
That's it for right now ( giant sigh and thank God heard from the VapeAtron users) .
Thanks in advance for your help on this batch of questions.

| Im not the expert but will give my 2 cents.
i have ordered from 3 supplier for juice so far(in order of preference)
Juicyliquid.com sells vg and Pg and has the most flavor IMO of the 3 i have tried, but they are out of stock alot cause of there popularity and price. I LOVE there Watermelon and want to try the reeces.
VermontVapor sells mostly VG there flavors are nice and smooth with very little TH on the 510. With a little loranns you can jump the flavor up. Vermont Vapor - The Smoking Alternative
MadVapes.com Great selection of 510's and cheapest Mega kit i could find. They sell PG with great flavor, but the PG in general was a little to harsh for me personally. They are cheaper by about half of the other 2, so planning on trying to mix and match with the VG/PG.
Im not experienced with the rest, so will leave those to the experts, Hope this helps.

| 1) I have decided on either the 510 or the Janty mini fogger. I know the 510 is very popular but I have never heard anything about the mini fogger. Has anyone tried it or heard about it? Nope not me.
2)I would prefer a cartomizer as I really like the ease of that and they can be refilled. 510 carts are very easy to refill. You pull the cart from the bottom, drip drip drip, push it back in, and you're good to go.
3)I would prefer to use the VG based liquid so does anyone have a suggestion as to who is best to buy liquid from that sells the VG? Vermont Vapor has the best VG, but I recommend a PG/VG blend. You get the smooth texture with better flavor and throat hit. A good liquid for that is the Johnson Creek juices ordered in RPG (reduced PG [which is to say they cut the PG with VG]). Their Tennessee Cured juice is delightful!
I'm the most electrically illiterate person on the forums. No idea. =(
5) Do I refill used cartridges or do I have to buy empty ones ? You totally can! I use the cart for a week, then I'll pull the batting out, wash it out, and let it dry. Then the next day (typically Saturdays) I cut a properly sized piece out of my Rena 100% cotton aquarium microfilter, push it in, trim it, then add my juice. There's many materials that you can use for the batting, but I like the 100% cotton aquarium filters as they are closest to the original batting.

Reason: The color I chose was too hard to read.

| Looking at another forum the mini fogger isn't very highly rated.
Neither of the ecigs you listed have a cartomizer, I suggest you look at the kr808d1.
VG liquids have a lot less taste and throat hit but more vapor. You may want to try both. At first I would just try smaller "sample sizes" until you find what you like.
Most ecigs also have a usb pass thru. A usb port runs at 5V so search for a usb power supply (all will be 5V). What is important is to make sure output is at least 1000 milliamp output. Less will not support the pt very well and could burn out.
Most ecigs carts can be refilled. Refilling is a lot cheaper and allows for a lot of options as far as flavor, strength etc. but for simple ease of use just buy new carts.
If you want to see additional info go to E-Cigarette Forum |

| I'm pretty new here too so my advice probably isn't worth too much but I just got my joye 510s today from nicotinenirvana.com 2 complete e-cigs and wall charger with 5 carts for $38.99 i've been puffin on it all day and its awesome. I don't have anything bad to say about it yet. I just opened one cart and then i've been filling it with some Johnson Creek flue cured juice and its been great all day. Just make sure to have a charged battery on hand. |

thanks for the reply. I would like to ask a big favor of you. I know a lot of people love the 510 but, as a new user, I would like your opinion of it. I keep hearing that it gets too hot and burns out the atomizer so what I would like to ask is this; could you let me know what you think of it after you have been using it for two or three weeks? I am really interested. I have been stung once when I bought the Smoke Stik and I can't afford to keep having that happen (who can right?).
Appreciate it babygoat17.
Thanks in advance,

neakybird | I know you're looking for an answer from babygoat17, and by all means hold your waiver-breaker for their reply, but the 510 is a lot like the L88 (Blu) in that sometimes it's all about the place you buy from. Volcano sells a great L88, Blu does not... well not as good. Electronicstix.com sells great 510 kits (and oh the colors =D) but I've heard of some sites that have sold not so working 510 kits. Sometimes it's not necessarily the model you buy as much as it is where you buy it from. May want to ask people who their preferred sites are. If you find a general consensus, you'll end up with a top 3 to 5 of the most reputable sites. Not that others aren't, but if 100 people go to Walmart and say their produce is okay and the same 100 people go to Fresh & Easy and say it's great... you might find better zucchini at F&E.

Thanks for the advice, ya know sometimes when you are in the middle of it you can't see the obvious (forest and trees?) Thanks again |

| I'll let you know for sure and i know the feeling of looking and looking but not being able to make a decision. For some people $40 to $60 isn't much and I really wish that I was one of those people, but unfortunately I'm not. Last year around August or September I bought an SS No. 7 micro starter kit from ecigarettesnational.com it was $80 it's a model KR-208 or 308 I can't find it right now to measure it. I got burned bad on the whole deal. My card got charged twice, it took about two and a half weeks to get to my door, and the thing did not perform well at all. When I called them about the issues I was having they were very quick to tell me that I was messing it up somehow, I never got an answer to my e-mails so I gave up on the whole e-cig all together. Sorry to sound like such a crybaby I guess I should just get over it. I do agree that you need to watch who you buy from, but I also think that sometimes if you want the best zucchini you need to talk to the person with the little cardboard sign because they know that they need to try just a little bit harder to keep you coming back. I hope that made some sense. I will keep you posted on how it's working. I've got three more kits coming from the same place for a couple of my friends, so soon we'll have four kits from the same vendor. I'll let you know if we have trouble with any of them. BTW still puffin away on mine, smoke free for about 16 hours. I used to smoke two packs Pall Mall 100s every day. |

All the praise, all the hype and all the accolades were for the Joye 510, not the cheaper clones that came later. MV does not do Joye and his latest Mega kits are the infamous SLB/DSE clones. The batts put out some nice volts but users have been plagued with sticking switches and melt downs. The ECF forums are riddled with examples. MV's liquids are standard Boge/Dekang as are his 510 disposables. |
