I've been using the smoke 51 ecig for a while now and I finally put together a review for my site a week or so ago, I figured I'd share my findings on here too so I hope you like. Oh and I am in the process of writing up the smoking everywhere and blucigs review so I will share that too once they are complete.
The Smoke51 Electronic Cigarette is the first ecig I ever tried. I came across it while walking through the Lynnhaven Mall in Virginia Beach one day. They had it set up at a kiosk. You know those ones you usually pass by as fast as possible. I couldn't believe someone was actually smoking in the mall. That's kind of what got me inspired to spread the word. After trying the product out in the mall and being the gadget guy that I am I picked up a starter kit and the rest is history. Here is my Smoke51 Review:
The Smoke51 Starter kit came with 2 cartridges of my choice, 2 batteries(either the short or long 100's), a wall charger and an official Smoke51 members card. Additionally I picked up a 5 pack of 6mg regular tobacco flavor cartridges. Smoke51 offers up to 8mg cartridges. Those seemed a little strong when I tried them at the kiosk. So off I went.
As soon as I got home I opened the packaging and screwed one of the cartridges into the smaller battery. The smaller battery is more realistic to a real cigarette but of course will hold less charge because it is a smaller battery. Unfortunately the batteries were not precharged. What I ended up with was some of the nicotine solution in my mouth and not vaporized by the battery. Mainly because I was puffing my hardest and no glowing indicator light was showing up at the tip. The included instruction manual did indicate that for the first use I would need to charge the batteries, but who needs instructions? Eventually charging the battery is what I did. I've not had the same problem since.
After charging the battery for a couple hours I was finally able to esmoke! You just take a couple small puffs to get the nicotine solution vaporizing. The Smoke51 Electronic Cigarette started working just like it did in the mall. I was impressed with the taste of the tobacco flavor cartridge and the amount of smoke it was producing. Quite nifty, I was smoking in my living room!
So far here's what I've found about the Smoke51 electronic cigarette. Overall I like it. The cartridges taste good. The last order I placed was actually the menthol cartridges and I usually smoke regulars but when it comes to epuffing it's a whole new ball game. I now prefer the menthol cartridges over the tobacco flavor. They taste minty and are very refreshing and relaxing of course. As far as how long the cartridges last, I've found that if you are about a pack a day smoker you will go through at least one cartridge a day. I've started one in the morning and started another one in the evening. Even though the cartridges don't live up to the 2 full packs some companies advertise. I still save money vs buying analog cigarettes. The equivalent esmoke price for someone who smokes a pack a day with these is about 3-4 dollars a day which isn't bad. I am quoting mall prices though, If you buy online you can buy larger quantities at a better price of course.
I recommend keeping one battery charged at all times because a newly charged battery always smokes the best and gives the biggest smoke output. I bought the starter kit that has 2 batteries with it so I can always keep one charging. I like to take one to work with me and keep one on charge at home, then when I get home I switch out the batteries and put the one I had at work on charge. I found this works the best and you have a fresh battery in the morning and in the evening, an optimal smoking experience is what I like to call it.
Overall I recommend the Smoke51 product. They have kiosks popping up all over the place, offer fast and free shipping and will not dissappoint.
