Hey everyone,
Yes, I am still alive, and vaping. I check the forums daily, but don't post much anymore. This is a side project for me and do it only in my free time.
Wanted to share what I have been using of late. I started out on kits 3 years ago, and have gone through a never ending process of trying new things and methods. I am currently in a 80% satisfied mode, but I am becoming increasingly less tolerant of shitty vapes.
I smoked 2 packs of analogs a day prior to this, so I've always shot for high power, high nicotine to curb my cravings. Once there were solid big-battery options out there, I tried them and never looked back. If you were a "real" smoker, in my opinion
a kit will NEVER satisfy you. Any of them, ever.
They are good to start with, but you will need to move on.
My current setup is as follows, and does the job for me.

I've found these to be consistent and quality. I've had bad experiences with several other suppliers' brands, to the point of almost stopping e-smoking. This one and the Boge 2.5 function normally IMO. Tho, with heavy dripping, you must swap out regularly.
Liquid http://www.johnsoncreeksmokejuice.co...uct/J017/rosj/
18mg strength
AND http://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/unfla...uice-e-liquid/
- 100mg, 100% PG
I take the Johnson Creek Island, which is 18mg nicotine strength. I then mix that with the 100mg MFS cutting liquid, to bump the nic level up to about 36mg.
I do this by getting an empty 5ml bottle, filling the bottle 10% with 100mg nic juice from MFS. Then fill the rest of empty bottle with Island, and shake thoroughly.
The mix of VG only JC juice, and PG only MFS juice, and the upped nicotine, is my perfect spot (most of the time).
I am very picky with juice, and this is the only thing that works for me. There is something in the Island mix that burns different than every other juice, even different than other Johnson Creek juices, and I've tried most JCs. So, Island in particular for me.
If the OHM reading on the Provari is around 3.2, I vape at 4.5 volts or a little up from there depending on heat/taste preference.
If the OHM reading on the Provari is 2.5, I vape on 4.2 volts or a little down, depending on heat/taste preference.
You must constantly keep the atomizer wet, flooded. It burns quick and you get a nasty taste if you don't. This of course leads to leaking. The Provari has a reservoir to catch some leakage, but it can fill up. I suggest having tissues to soak up leaked juice at all times. It sucks, but is worth it IMO for the control of the vape.
I also use an open mouth drip tip, even though you don't need one because of the Super T feeder. Here's a pic:

Juice, I've probably spent 2000 dollars on juice over 3 years. 90% of it I've thrown away after one drip and vape of it. That sounds like a lot, but at 10 dollars a day for 365 days, x 3 years, that would have been $10,900 in cigarettes.
And, I've gotten even more particular as I've gone forward with it. I will not tolerate shitty juice.
Right now, because I don't feel like experimenting anymore, I use that above listed combo.
One alternative is the Melona from
Vapor Tokers. This is just re-branded Chinese import juice, so I'm sure it's available elsewhere. Melon/Melona flavor. I don't know why I like it, just do.
That's it for now. Hope it helps those looking. Keep trying new juice, equipment, methods. It's the only way to achieve your perfect vape. The initial costs will pay for itself in the long run, just from offsetting costs of packs of cigarettes. And, maybe, if we are all lucky, health too. Though, no way to know about that until us early adopters live 20 more years and some doctor goes looking around inside.
And, for the record, all of these things have warnings you should read and pay attention to before using. Juice, equipment, batteries. Familiarize yourselves with them before jumping in. Each retailer should have instructions and warnings posted on their sites.
Later!
