Just got the phonecall confirming it.
The cancer has spread from his lungs into his lymphatic system. Inoperable, and the docs are advising against any form of treatment so he can live out his last days without losing any quality of life.
So many emotions and thoughts on so many levels.
I don't like situations I can't fix.
We really need to stop losing loved ones to these things.
If you're the praying type, say a little one for Mrs Wiz and her dad, if you're not, just send some good thoughts their way. | You have my best wishes.

| Thanks guys. I will be passing along your sentiments to Mrs Wiz.
She is very much the praying type and those kind of things mean a lot to her.
All y'all keep taking the time to talk to the smokers you meet... even those of us still struggling. Just because you can't say you've completely quit yet doesn't mean you can't help someone else to make the switch. You never know just when you might end up saving a life... maybe even your own. |

| My prayers go out to the both of you. Let's hope for a miracle... But it sounds like we need God to grant peace and acceptance. I am so very sorry that anyone would ever have to go through this. Give Mrs Wiz a big hug for myself and DH.

I lost my grandfather to lung cancer and 2 very close friends. It was not easy watching or letting them go in the end. Very emotional on so many levels. Give Mrs Wiz a big hug from me too. |

Especially when its a loved one (like a baby) and I have no idea what to do. I have found that if I can remember to put it in God's great hands all will be good. Just hard for me to remember that sometimes.
We will pray for peace and healing for you and yours.
