Dear fellow E-cigarette users. I'm new to the forums and new to the concept of E-cigarettes. I'm very interested in purchasing a 510 starter kit with enough E-juice to last for a few months. I'm very sure that I want a 510 model that looks like an analog, that is, a white colored model with an red or orange led light. If possible I would prefer it to be automatic, that is, I would want it to activate automatically when drawing upon it rather than being activated by pressing a button. An AC recharger and a usb adapter are also a necessity. I'm not sure how many atomizers, batteries and carts I will need -- I'm finding that most starter kits come with 2 atomizers, 2 batteries and 5 carts.. I'm wondering if these parts, with the addition of say 100ml of E-juice, will last me a couple of months.. should I buy more batteries or atomizers, or carts for that matter (I'm very new so I'm not sure if I could just refill the 5 carts with the extra juice or could the five carts themselves wear out before the two months is up)? I should say that I smoke the equivalent of a 25 pack of cigarettes a day, medium to strong strength.

I would prefer to buy everything all at once -- a single shipment from a single supplier because getting things mailed here is sometimes an issue. My cost is flexible (I'm paying through the ass otherwise anyway) but of course I'd like to keep it down (under 150 usd if possible??). My situation is not convenient for using E-cigarettes but I am determined to switch to them. I live in Australia now, where the sale of E-cigs has been banned and where cigarettes cost $15-$20 a pack (Honest... just like a hard kick in the face) and due to this situation I'm eager to piss in the soup of anyone telling me I have to be a slave to have my smoke....

I've checked out several suppliers but I haven't found one that offers all these things. A reasonably quick shipment to Oz is important to me as well (Eastmall, one I checked out, but didn't offer everything I needed -- a white/red 510 model for example -- uses a fast shipping method: ems service if memory serves me, with a 15 day shipping time to Perth).

Perhaps I'm asking too much. I feel like if I was reading this I might tell the poster "Geez man use the friggin search function." I just have so many questions... what am I asking? Who can hook me up I guess lol.. that is, are there any suppliers that have these kind of options and are the pieces offered in the standard starter kits (2 batteries, 2 atomizers, 5 carts, and an extra 100ml of juice) enough for an average smoker to last for two months (rough estimates much appreciated )?

OK, let's parse this down...white with red LED. Not, bad but the black with red (if you can find one) looks much cooler. The only thing I didn't like about white is that it gets dirty and looks decrepit after a week or two.

Atties? Hmmmm...I have a thing about atties...I burn them out in a week or less. Some people use them for months, me...not so good. Order a few spares just in case...

The standard Joye 510 battery lasts about 45 minutes the way I vape, and takes a couple hours to charge. I made a few big battery mods that last DAYS, but I would recommend something with more OOOMPH like an eGo or the like. As far as a passthrough, the Joye PT has a battery that takes the load off your poor little USB port, and this is a Good Thing. If you have poked around, you'll have seen an atomizer draws about 1.2-1.5 amps; your poor little USB port supplies about .5. Adequate for charging batteries, but not so good for a PT. Esp if you have a laptop. Laptop motherboards are about $275...that buys a LOT of batteries!

E CIGS BANNED?!?! WTF? I'd vote ALL of Parliament out and replace it with Aboriginies!

OK, I dont know if you can place an order at just one place including juice but I see your dilemma factoring in shipping cost (Christ! 20.00 a pack your budget should be huge!)
I'll say this much...ego or riva at least 650 mah for sure. Maybe several batteries and maybe 2 different manufacturers in case you got problems with one type as waiting on replacements might be a problem there. Lots of cartos with the order I suggest CE2 2.7 or 2.5 ohm..they just work better. I dont consider attys...just cause steam's expereinces...that would be my luck.
Juice will be you big problem finding what you like. Once you get that worked out then you can order in bulk. Try several and dont order major quantites until you do work it out. Did I say Christ!!!! 20.00 a pack!!!!

I would say that for me being new ish to e cigs I like the ease of cartomizers.
I was a heavy smoker (2.5packs/day) and to get me threw a day I use 24/26 mg and 36mg per ml juice. I work construction and I refill my cartomizers on my breaks. I use 2 pig cigs from mike 650 mah and I still have to recharge em. His line of vapriot juice is usa production with quality controls in place for Safejuice.
So let's start on a daily factor for me. In a 10-12 hour day at work I go threw about 1000 to 1400 mah in battery power. Or more. I switch out two or three cartomizers and refill em every few hours (or when I duck away quick). I also have a pass threw. Its like a plug in ecig. It works wonders for when I am home.
So imo I would say
Maby 6 510 batts
A pass threw
A usb charger and wall plug outlet
40 or so cartomizers ( to be safe for two months)
And 30 mills of juice per week (its ok to have extra)((on this))
But that is my view on it.
Who ever you order from just make shore it is packed discretly for you sake lol.

FORTY CARTOMIZERS?!?!

I get 10-14 days from a cartomizer, that's 560 days (at 14 days). Even at 10 days, that's 400 days! Of course, if supply is a problem that might not be a bad idea.

I currently have ~80 Cartomizers: 30 2 Ohm 510s, 20 3 ohm 510s, and ~35 CE2s

Also the odd 901 and 501 regular atties. We won't go into that right now...

If you want something that looks like a cigarette and will satisfy try either a DSE510 or KR808D-1. You can use atomizers or cartomizers with either model. 510 uses a 510 cartomizer and 808D-1 uses a 901 atomizer. I like cartomizers, but finding good ones can be tricky. My first kit: KR808d-1
Good price, great product. I've tried about 10 different models and the D1 is what I carry around on a daily basis. Just be sure to condition your batteries, buy a couple of boxes of cartomizers and a bottle of liquid. Well let's just say this week has been very very hard on cartomizers for me. And I figure a few days for him each with a few doa and a few burnt (it happens). What is left may be thirty after loses from droping ect... so one for two to five days I think is reasonable...

Today some how I killed 3 cartomizers and working on the fourth. Just one of those purple plastic days. Has any one ever had clear juice go in and brown stuff come out.
but then again I can't rember going threw 30 mills in less than ten days...

As for me..... I'm one of those ones that really wanted my ecig to look like a real cig too. Don't waste your money. It wasn't enough and I wasn't smoking a full pack a day. I was smoking a full pack, but I only smoked it down to halfway, so I guess you could say I was only a ½ pack a dayer.

I feel like I really wasted good $$ buying those little things that looked like a real cig. Then I went with the pigcig mike sells and can go almost all day (not quite) on one charge. And they're nifty looking too. Whatever colors he gets them in, I'm going to try to have one of them all. I have the black, the chrome, and the goldie arrived today!!!! I don't know if he can ship overseas or not.

As for ecigs being banned........ wikipedia says this:

A pair of LeCig's Pigcig's and 10-20 Mega cartomizers is my recommendation for a good startup kit. Don't go overboard on eliquid at first get a few little bottles from different suppliers while you're looking for that perfect flavor.

LuvE, my recommendation is to avoid the smaller models. The more that the device looks like an analog cigarette the more you'll have to keep up with charging and fooling around with it to make it useful. If you're just sticking your toe in the tub to test the temp. I recommend the 808d-1, it was designed for cartomisers and has the same thread as the 901. If you decide a 510 is for you, get the mega batteries, they are the same size as the 808 batts at over 250 mAh. 510 batts are 150mAH, 901s are 180.
liberty-flights.com has 901 and 510 versions of the 750 mAh Rivas right now with the discount code,for $30 US+ shipping. They sell cartomisers and juice as well.
That's how I'd go.
Get some polyester pillow stuffing at a variety store to replace cart filler when it gets burnt. Get some vegetable glycerin at a grocery (pure veggy, Kosher is best.) you can use the vg to stretch your juice or reduce the nicotine level of juices that give you hiccups or make your fingers numb.
Forgot to say make sure you get electrical adaptors to match your outlets in the wall if it is different than us or english electrical plugs.

Yea, everybody starting out thinks it should be more like analogs but we all seem to get away from that pretty quick when you have to recharge several times in a day. Then you don't even want it to look anything like an analog anyway.
