| So I convinced my mom to get one. She's been taking meds to quit smoking, and apparently it is doing nothing for her. She wants one that looks like a classic cigarette, but I'm not sure which one I should get for her.
Any recommendations? |

| There are several that are "classic size". Check the model guide, and look for ones that are 89mm in length, those are close to real cig sizes. RN4081 is one, but doesn't work that well. DSE101/102/103 might, but I havent used them. The "Pilot" or M401/M402 - That is smaller as well, and has been getting good reviews.
And whats up Funk! Good to see more TF folks here. |

| Well, most that will look like a real cig are junk. Carts too small, batteries don't last. Best ones (from what I have read) are the 401 and the MiniFogger. But take MiniFogger. GREAT vapor, good throat hit, but batteries are only supposed to last like an hour? I just ordered one this morning, and it's now in the mail. I can keep you updated. I am on a mission as of current. I am trying to get one of every kind. I want to review all of them so I can talk about first hand experience. My suggestion would be get a 901 that is white with orange led. A bit longer than a normal cig, but still looks close. |

| Yeah, I started to look at all of the different models, but I got a bit overwhelmed. Hopefully when some pics and ratings start coming in it will be easier to differentiate the good from the bad.
Thanks guys!

| Funk, I would also recommend a 901 for a beginner. Puresmoker is a good retailer, and inexpensive, and coupon code LEAFORD will get you 5% off, but they don't have a warranty. E-Smokeytreats is a bit pricier, but has a 6 month warranty, and LEAFORD will save you 10% there. And I love the midnight blue color they have there.
Lintz is right about the cigarette sized superminis, but if you really must get one the size of a real cig, the best one I've tried yet is from the E-Smoke Stop. I should be reviewing it in the next week or so. It's only 89mm long, and fairly lightweight. On a scale of 1 to 5, the vapor level is about a 3.5, and it hits 4 with a fresh cartridge and battery. Nice smooth draw, and good switch performance. The prices are a bit high, but they do have a one year warranty, and starter kits come with 2 atomizers instead of 1.
But the drawback with the small size (89mm) is that each cartrige only lasts the equivalent of about 2 to 3 cigs, and the batteries last about two cartridges. SO a pack a day smoker might need as many as 10 cartridges in a day, and 5 batteries. So, I really suggest a 901 instead.
Still, I understand wanting the same look and feel that is familiar, so if you insist on it they're the best ones that size I've tried. I don't have a discount code for them yet, but if you e-mail Ruxana at info@esmokestop.com and tell them I sent you, I'm sure she'll take care of you.

| One thing that is still a little odd for me is the weight distribution of the standard e-cig. For instance the DSE-901 is very tip-heavy. |

| Hmmm my Crown7 Hydro is the size of a 100 Length cigarette, it works darn good for me, on a scale of 1-5 id say the vapor is a 3.5, battery life is 4, cartridge life is 3.5 the draw is about a 2.5, but other then that its awesome, or theres the 901 which was my first e-cig and its a darn good starter. vapor 3 , battery life, 3.5, cartridge life 4.5, and draw is super good at a 4.5.....Let us know what she ends up getting!!! :-) |

Hi! I saw some of your vids. Thanks for all the info. We, newbies, need all the info we can get. I'm still overwhelmed by all these ecig numbers and styles, and sizes, etc...I want to purchase one today but until now, I still haven't done that yet. I'm looking into the 401s, because of its design, as well. I saw an all black/red on dietsmokes. I did see a picture of different colors like pink/white, yellow/white, black with gold, etc. But so far, all I saw were the black ones. I'm looking for the pink/white or the green/white 401s. Do you know of a site that sells these colors? Also, I'm kinda interested in one of those cases that charge the e-cigs on the go. I saw one called blucig.com. They're the short ones but I'll only use them when I'm out hanging out with friends. At home, I plan to use the 401s. |

How does it compare to the other e-cigs that have already been suggested? You seem to be stressing the length ... but what about the diameter? Please at least try to contribute to the forums instead of just posting "Buy from me" at every opportunity you can make for yourself. |
