Hi, Ry.
Sorry for being neglectful. Using CE2 xl clearomizers. 50pg/50vg mix. Vapor Renu flavor extract. Just ordered 3 boxes of CE3 clearomizers from LeCig. The ones with dual thingies. My crack rate on the ce2's has ended up being 40% out of the box. I am, however, getting about 25 fills of 1ml or more before I heave them. Never had any luck with cleaning. The ones that are cracked (hairlines at the base) always leak like a sieve.

Part of what has given me a change up is the pass through on my computer. Have a tank with oddball stuff, and only use it when I'm on the computer. Switch it up at odd times, but never use my walking around flavor.

Got the ce3's today. Filled it with my regular juice. Connected to my pig cig. HORRIBLE. Burnt paper taste and smell. Any suggestions? or should I just give them away

Even though I crave them from time to time, the smell is awful, makes me wanna gag. Can even smell it if someone is smoking in the car in front of me. Then can't even walk into half a dozen stores without walking through the smoke gag hanging out smoking at the front doors. Never really noticed that before.

That's ok, just don't do it again

Awhhh.... the CE2 things. I don't use those as I had bad luck with them to begin with but I think they have made improvements since then. Still prefer and stick with the cartos. Part of my problem with them was I would burn them like that after the first hit or two and that burnt taste never went away. Even if I do that on a carto, can't get the burnt taste out. IDK if it can be fixed or not, I always toss mine when that happens.

Yep. Can't say I ever stood in front of one and smoked though. But the big ash tray cans sit right at the front doors. At the physical therapy place I go to, they don't have anything for smokers to put their cigs out in but they all hang at the front door. You should see all the cig butts covering the ground there. Really gross. And just after it rains, walking up to the door has a bad cig smell that lingers there. Ewwwww.

Well, they should get away from the door! Complain to the peeps. I'm sure it is gross.

The CE3s are a bit different, to say the least. I find too high voltage makes them taste funky, and too low they don't have any taste. I gave up on them, after buying like 25 of them. Now I just use them to use them up.

The CE2s are messy, but I have found they work the best ~3.5 ohms.

ok. Opened another one. The first one, I think I dry burned a little before I put in the juice. Wanted to see if they worked on my pigcig, so hit the button to see the red glow. Then filled. The next one I filled first and no burnt taste. Another stupid operator error.

They work best if you drip a little juice on to the coil, and let them sit for at least 15 minutes to make sure the juice wicks properly before firing them up.

This second one seems to be fine. Other problem is the size eliminates the cone, which helps with not breaking it in the pocket. Hopefully the ce2's will continue to improve. Wonder if the hairline crack at the bottom join could be fixed ahead of time with a little nail polish remover. Just a thought.

The only problem is, they are disappearing! I used to get them at Madvapes, but all he has are the 808s. The places that do still have them have the XLs, which don't work as well, or don't have the 2.5 ohms, which I find work the best.

I hated having to tip them up every 3-4 pulls even after dripping some on the coil, got kind of annoying. Couldn't beat the flavor when they were working, though.

And doesn't Gotvapes sell a lot of different versions of these?

I was getting my ce2 xl clearomizers from Good Prophets (808d) but they don't have them listed anymore. GotVapes seems to have a supply in all sizes, for 510 and 808d, and all colors. Madvapes looks like it is out of stock on just about everything. Maybe they're waiting for a carload.

But, I did resist lighting one up at practice yesterday, where I usually smoke, especially while having a couple beers to boot. Nothing goes better with a beer than a RYO made with Rave tobacco!

That said, the place where we practice is kind of a "man cave", and the guy who owns the house smokes a LOT, and one of his friends comes to hear us play, and HE smokes like a chimney, and when I got home I had to take my hoodie off and hang it outside because it SMELLED so BAD!!!!!!!!!

And, his wife was talking about e cigs, and the conv store across the street sells them.

I told her I'd hook her up for a lot less, but she's tried this. Her sister has one. Actually, the last band I was in one of the guitar players had one and I was impressed with the flavor and the vapor. I think it's an 808 based device, and they work well, but they're $49 for 2 batts, a charger and 5 carts, and 5 carts are $10. Not bad, but the batts last about 2 hours before having to be charged again.

I also have a Fender P-Bass Lyte and an Ibanez SG305 5 string. They all have unique properties, but the one in the pic is my favorite. I've only had it...er, let's just say since I was 17...
