Well... you know, the cool thing about electronic cigarettes is that it is a product that SHOULD sell on it's own merits. honestly, there is a great amount of money to be made by selling legitimately. Unfortunately, there are far too many companies who have the advertising budget who feel the need to tag a scam onto it.

They send you a "free" device (Of poor quality, I'm sure... Whatever the cheap-o of the week in China happens to be) and it comes with a "membership" (That you WILL be charged for - although they forget to tell you about that part) which allows you to buy replacement cartridges for "A discounted rate" (Which is STILL 10 times what they are paying for them)

Additionally, with the big clearinghouse and kiosk dealers, you have a choice of nasty standard issue regular flavor or mouthwash flavor. Those people are never let in to the secret that they can enjoy any of over 300 flavors. The guy even told me that you can't refill the cartridges. FEH!

People who fall for this scam will inevitably decide that this is too expensive for what it is. It is REALLY hard to convince those people to try your product. I have set up at the local flea market a few times (about 20,000 people per day), and every time I was set up, I got people that would stop by and look and then inform me that they have tried it before and it is a scam because they don't work and they cost too much.

Even the guy at the kiosk in the mall is scamming. I went to "shop the competition". He was selling a rebranded RN4081 for $125.00 per kit, claiming that the hardware lasts forever.

It is this sort of greed that has people looking at us like shady car salesmen.

PEOPLE! It sells itself! You don't have to add in a scam!

The Mall closest to me has a 510 compatible kit for ONLY $99.00 (two batteries, five cartridges). The young fellow running it doesn't know much (poor guy) about e-cigs, only what the owner told him. I let him try one of his sample carts on a Trailer Park with potential customers standing there. I guess I sort of messed up his sales (poor guy). He asked if he could buy a T.P. and I said it really wouldn't be appropriate but gave him a business card to a seller that has the Vapeatron website on it. A few mall goers followed me to the food court to talk some more (poor guy).



Went to the Auto Parts store this morning to pick up a compressor for my daughter and the clerk reminded me that they got some more flashlights in. Don't need any right now. But it's cool to be remembered in my little circle as the Flashlight Guy.
