Billy could sell you a '74 pinto wagon and you would want to buy it, and feel like you got a porsche. He truly was one of the best ...

yea I agree Billy Mays, Very good Salesman and God rest his soul!

He dies from several days after hitting his head really hard on an airplane for those that do not know. Or if they figured out another reason that I do not know about please correct me.

That is some good news and good job!!!

not the burning shed part =)

I lived in a small city in south Georgia and that day my friend and I walked down the alley that ran in back of our street; she with a few of her sister's cigarettes and me with matches. It was August 1954, and the alley's white sand was blazing hot so I ran back to my house and slipped on my loafers, brand new school shoes that I wasn't supposed to wear until school started. A neighbor at the far end of the alley had a thick stand of trees and bushes across her backyard and you could crawl under a big gardenia bush to a tiny clearing in the center where it was shady and cool and we could sit cross-legged on the grass, smoke cigarettes and talk and giggle, completely undisturbed and oblivious to anything around us. Suddenly, we both realized there was a lot of smoke in the air and when we started looking around, there was fire underneath the bushes all around us. We both started trying to put it out by throwing sand from the alley on it, but it had too much of a head start and when flames shot up one of the trees, we hightailed it back into the alley. I ran right out of one of my loafers and as we stood wide-eyed in the alley, we heard the siren of the approaching fire truck, and I told my friend I had to find my shoe. She didn't want me to go back but I told her if I didn't get my loafer, they would know we did it and we'd be in big trouble. I guess I thought they would go from door to door, like Prince Charming with the glass slipper, only they'd have my loafer and would be looking for a real "Cinder-ella". When school started, I wore one new loafer and one loafer with char marks and a slightly burned sole. I told my Mama I burned my shoe trying to put out a fire we saw in a neighbor's yard. Well, it was mostly true.... And it would have never happened if we had been vaping instead of smoking!

No, it was a big fire only to the almost-9 year old girls who were responsible for it; the only losses were an old, small, unused shed, an already dead tree, and my new loafer. A positive result, I've done a lot of camping in my life, from east to west coast and in most states in between, and I've always been a fanatic about making sure the campfire is completely out! Like Smokey Bear, I learned my lesson about fire very early.

This is news?

Went to the site and enjoyed the part about a battery lasting 2 days.
I wish I had a battery that lasted 2 days (besides the car battery).

Ha, lasting two hours would be a treat let alone 2 days with those 510 batteries. Those things are the worst of the bunch for whatever reason they chose to go with those.

Why do these amateur vendors feel the need to post their rah rah crap in threads all the time? I get so sick of seeing that crap.

2 days? Is that because of low puff count??

I drain a super mini battery dry in 20-30 minutes LOL

I really didn't care cuz I seen so many stars working there it wasn't a big deal. Hell Bruce Buffer (brother of Michael Buffer) damn near smacked in the face with an autographed pic. And I never even asked! lol Celebs are a different breed of people.

I'm just glad some celebs are switching to the e-cig. Celebs can make a ton of impact if they all knew the benefits of the product. Aint it a shame that much of the public needs someone else to make their decisions for them all because they are to lazy to educate themselves on certain issues?

SmokeStik Usa doesn't even have nicotine in their products. I called the company and they said they decided to take a 3 point stance against having nicotine in their products because of the whole FDA thing. Which I thought was pretty lame. Has anyone heard anything new about the FDA and their position on E-Cigs? No ban so far but that doesn't mean it is or aint coming.

Hey Puffdaddy, one of your neighbors in on the Leno show, complaining about how hard it is to quit smoking, again.

Take a D-1 over to Mel Gibson.

Back to Billy Mays for a moment... Remember the commercial where he said "This sander represents years of wear and tear on your hardwood floors"? It was not a sander. It was a $25.00 car wax buffer with non-scratch Bon Ami scouring powder mixed with water to make a paste. The Swiffer was loaded with water to pick up the paste and "Restore the floor to it's original shine".

Aah... the smoke and mirrors of marketing!

Advertising is an art. I love the imagination of some in the business, but the "infomercial" people have their own agenda, fool the public. Take the e-cig commercials, too bad Billy couldn't have done the "smoke and mirrors" for vaping.
