I have spent my whole life taling a LOT of things apart, and about half of it putting them back together again....

If I kill a battery, I'll open it up and see if it can be done. Until then, guesswork:

Pop the end of the battery off (the translucent part that glows). It's probably glued in, so good luck!

The led should be right behind that. If you're lucky, they left a "service loop" in the wire to allow it to be removed. It is probably mounted on a round circuit board. If you're not lucky, you'll have to "go in" and try unsoldering it from the top.

Unsolder the led and solder in one of your liking.

Try it out. If it works, fine! If not, go to an e-cig web site and order one with the color led you like!

ya i looked at it and its a surface mounted led on the board \. and the led is not a light its like a lil solar panel. i'd be better off just buyin a battery for 10 bucks. thanks anyway. (unless you feel like doing sevice orders lol)

I was looking into changing the dash on my Scion from orange to blue, but there are those SMD LEDs all over the place!

I'm a good solderer, but I don't know if I have that much patience!
