Oh cool. Please let me know what section you will be in. Hubby's Mom and Sister have a booth out there every month. His Father is a ship captain and at sea 4-6 weeks at a time then home for 2-4 weeks at a time. We have to have Christmas twice every year. Once on Christmas day and then again the first time he's home after Christmas. He just got back yesterday so we're having our second Christmas tomorrow night. I got him one of the 510 disposable kits that MadVapes sells to see if he's even going to be interested or like it. If he does I think a D1 kit would be perfect for him because of his extended times at sea. If he is in town, I'll bring him and we'll come out a see you. In the mean time I'm sending him to the forum to read.
Thanks again!
J

Mike, Just curious what type of storefronts are you using? mall, flea market, strip market? I would think the overhead would make it difficult to sell ecigs alone.

I've been finding properties are around $600 per month on average. We have found properties to be as high as $3200 in Texarkana, but I wouldn't really even consider that.
Of course with real estate its location location location .. so ya know.
Tomorrow I'm locking down Texarkana and the Mena location has already been completed, were to announce hopefully both officially this week
Of course nothing beats the overhead of the web, however, just think of how many people out there that smoke that either do not have internet access or just simply refuse to use the net to buy things. I was actually surprised at how many there are. |

Best of luck to you! I'm all the way out in AZ so I probably won't have an opportunity to stop in and give a howdydo. Although a friend of mine works here in AZ for the transit authority in TX. He monitors your traffic cams. Flip him off for me if you have the chance.

Had inlaws there and would trip up to visit. He worked on the AR side of the building on the state line Picture opportunity that double state sign.
Interesting place, best of luck.
And I agree about still people that won't buy online, unless it's an infomercial.
Ever think about ovvering a free set of knives with an e-cig kit?
Sometimes I have to give away an AC adapter when I give away a kit that only has a USB charger. You know what that means about their level of techno-knowledge.

I agree Johnny, internet sales is the wave of future! Our mission is to convert smokers and my finding is lots of folks don't have or like to use the internet in the age bracket that we need to target, hence the need for retailing.
As of today we are selling our products in Mena, AR
Hair Biz. 1504 Highway 71 SMena,AR71953-3862. (479) 243-4590
Texarkana and De Queen to have stores opened next week.
We are allowing a select number of vendors to sell in our local area, and we are going to be looking for Reps in other states. If you interested please contact us via our web: LeCig Electronic Cigarette Store - Contact Us |

How about my friend's jewelry store? Its a big antique house, beautiful, with another friend's massage salon in the back. I want to get the owner on ecigs anyway and all of his puffing friends and huge family... I want to have a non-internet place to send the MANY non-internet old farts round here!

If you interested please contact us via our web: LeCig Electronic Cigarette Store - Contact Us | Sounds interesting. The problem for store fronts will be one of prices. You have some very good ones now. But with brick and mortar outlets your cost of doing business will skyrocket. Rent, insurance, utilities, employees, federal taxes etc. For a going business to add e-cigs to the mix is one thing, but a new e-cig only endeavor will demand much higher prices and the nature of them will also demand some decent help that understands the product, and it's workings well. Going with a two piece system should help though. The other problem I see is that folks will come to your place for an education, them shop elsewhere for a cheaper price. BestBuy's employees know a bit about their product and will spend time educating the consumer, who then leaves and buys at either WalMart or Amazon. Quote: |
in the age bracket that we need to target
| If this an older crowd your name is very important. In bars Grey Goose vodka is shunned by the older, blue collar crowd due to it being a product of France. Many older folks are rather jingoistic.
I'm gonna give you a shout. In my city there are Smoke Shops everywhere. Our cig taxes were lower than our neighbor (we are right on the border). But that gap has been narrowed, they might be willing to try something new.

We decided that the best way to infiltrate the market out there was to allow shops to carry our product as opposed to open up stores that like you say will have monster overheads.
Our home town area will be our own shop, exclusive to just our products but the other locations will be merely selling our brand.
Give me a shout anytime |

If you interested please contact us via our web: LeCig Electronic Cigarette Store - Contact Us | Please, if you find those kiosks in the malls where greedy companies are trying to con people out of hundreds of dollars for a basic ecig kit, promise me you'll pull their potential sales! I respect their attempt to help get people off of analog cigarettes, but there's a line. Just like with pharmaceutical companies. There's a line between helping people and conning people.
