Updated - Seems Kanger has released a 3rd installment of the 808 series, the KR-808b. This model has a shorter battery, and is 85mm in length total. Smallest yet. For reference, the PeeWee/RN4081 is 112mm. So this thing is pretty short. |

Hi Guys,
You are completely missing on another model of Kangar that we are selling, It is called KR-808-D though it has the same 808 model no. this is a completely different e-cigarette.
This is a 2 pc Cig with a big battery. To compare batteries the 808-B (that we also sell) holds 140mAh of power (not bad for the size) the 808-D battery (much larger 110mm & 120mm) holds 240-260mAh of power, big difference for folks on the go.
You can see the 808-D in this link. CellPhonesLord.com - Electronic Anti Cigarette by eAnywhere eCigarette.
In general the cartridges are more expensive but hold about 2.5 times more juice then the regular mini carts. Factory claims for 400 puffs in a cart but we claim only about 200-250 puff (just our own estimate we never used a puff machine to get a real count).
Let me know if you need more info about this model and i can supply pics if you need.
I like your forum and all the great info it gives, Good job.
Regards,
Ori

Don't know about a D2 but the KR808D-1 is old news, it has been out for while I think this part of the forum has been ignored if you look at the date of the first post or the most recent until this last week. The GreenCig is still better than the KR808D-1 although that is a great model. I like the ease of refilling the KR808D-1 carts, the taste, and the amount of time they last. The draw is a bit light for my taste but easily cured by blocking of the holes where the battery and cart come together. If I don't have my GreenCig the KR808D-1 is the 2nd favorite of mine.

Both KR 808D-1 and -2 now have a magneto switch instead of a silicone flap. The big diffrence between the two are the screw height and thread size. The 808D-1 has a shorter height and and fewer threads. The 808D-2 it taller ... according to the manufacture, DUOs are the -2 ... but I haven't tested that. If anyone has a DUO, drop me a line and I'll send you a free cartridge to test it. The DUO as far as I can tell is diffrent by looking at the pics, but the manufacture swears by it.
I have to agree with you on the GreenCig, it is far superior in regards to the cart, just the flavors are not the same. I do love their vapor production. The GreenCig cart works with the D1 battery without any mods, this I have tested. But they do not work with the D2.

Yeah I knew that the KR808D-1 carts and the GreenCig carts could be used with either battery, they can also be used with the 901 with a simple staple mod. What did you experience with the D2 when you tried a GreenCig cart on it? No draw? No vapor? No fit?

No fit, the screw is to narrow on the D2.

I think the GreenCig cart (besides the higher quality design) fits more snug on the D1 battery and chokes the holes more. It seems to me alot less of the "smoking thru a straw" effect as you put it. At first I thought perhaps they used more PG in them, but I was able to get some incredible vapor clouds using my juice. I like my juice taste much better than the GreenCig, it is a tasteless perfume-y vapor is the best way I could describe it.

The western tobacco is not a favorite of mine, I just add a drop or two before I even use them now and it seems to cut it to a more tolerable taste. I too prefer my juices and I do really love the GC carts and battery life though it really does kick some serious butt.

I just got in a sample of GC's new western flavor cart from the factory. Still bland tasting but man is this thing a vapor machine! I have some batteries on order right now, I'll follow up with my experience ... it is the new and improved one that does not cut out after 1.5 secs.

I have a correction to make.
KR-808D-1 and RN-4081 are not the same.
KR-808D-1 is a 2pc system (Cartomizer) while the RN-4081 is a 3pc.
The RN-4081 is the "known" smoking everywhere Gold eCig
KR-808B is a 3pc system like the RN-4081 but thinner and shorter.
We are selling them all at under the name eAnyWhere at: http://www.ecigarettebrands.com/ |

I have a 510 with both auto and manual batteries and to me there is a big difference as far as the "smoking thru a straw" effect goes. The manual battery seems to have less of the effect. So what I want to know is does the D1 battery also have this difference? I have an auto D1 and want to get a second battery. I like the less hassle of the auto battery but if the manual will give less of that effect I may get a manual one.
Thank you in advance for reading and any help that may be provided.

Personally I feel the autos even though they may have more air drag you get a better hit from them. The manual has a very low air drag, but like I say I do prefer the autos.

Thanks Mike! I think I will try the GreenCig cartos first and decide from there. You have the black ones so going to place an order now for those.
I am very impressed so far with the D1 over the 510. My battery lasted 13 hours yesterday and I'm still on the first carto with about 17 hours on it. However I did add about 6 drops of juice to it to tone out the flavor that came in the carto.
The 510 was still a great find. Received on the 12/19, hubby had his last analog on the 21st and I had mine on the 23rd. We had purchased a carton of analogs on the 17th and gave the remainder of that carton, 7 packs, away to the neighbor yesterday. We had held on to them to make sure but made up our minds that we're not going back so got rid of them.
The information on this forum has been invaluable! I'm so glad I found it and e-cigs
Thanks again!
J

Rocket | Yeah, but...
We regret to inform you that ChoiceVapor.com will cease operations on December 31st 2009.
This has been an agonizing decision for us and one we have not come to easily. We recently received a letter from a State Attorney General that demanded a cease of sales. This letter which cites inaccurate statements from the highly contested July FDA press release has tested our resolve and hastened our decision.
As usual, I'm a day late and a dollar (or, $15) short...
Make that 2 days...

Yes, but it was a mad house getting rid of his inventory, I would not have wanted to be in Timmy's shoes trying to keep everyone happy.
I just wonder what the Att Gen of Ill had as leverage?
Advertising?, false claims?, any other sellers got the boot from officials (I know Paypal forced some out)? Just what triggered this? Any other sellers in Ill want to comment?

need to order other stuff cause shipping is $15 up to 500 grams.
or $5 and 4 weeks.
I think Frenchy is working on getting some adapters so people can try his Cartos on different battery systems
and be careful because KR808D-1 and KR808D-2 are different.
