| Just a friendly suggestion, nothing more, but I would suggest you change the title on your Mini Pipe to just Mini Pipe like is on the box. "Lady Pipe" just doesn't work. I don't know any ladys who would vape it anyway and I sure don't know any guys who would if it's titled Lady Pipe. I think guys might go for it if it was just "Mini Pipe".
Mini Cigars would be a good market for guys but only if they're not called "Lady Cigars", ya get me?

| AND what is wrong with a guy smoking a Lady Pipe? Do you have a problem with that?
Just as long as it's not pink, I don't do pink.
I went almost all the way through the checkout process, man I really hate doing that, just to see what the shipping was. I agree, be upfront, show it. don't sneak up on us.

| I put the 89mm starter kit in my cart and got a $29 shipping fee to Florida. That's $6 more than the kit. It is quoted as EMS for the shipping company.... Grand total $52.00. |

| Wow,
Now that is just insane. The instant quote thingie is now working. $29.00 to ship the thing to Missouri? Get this not even a flat rate either, shipping charge calculated on weight. Where is this place located, Jupiter?

WAIT... I'm going to chance a guess... hmm.... mmm.... could it be.... $29!
( Now all things considered I've received a few shipments from China, it is quite far, but usually its $20 bucks even, so I wonder who gets the $9?)

| Saw the same.
Not everyone charges like that for shipping.
I always wonder why you can't show it up front. Sure, a big big order might be more,
but EMS rate changes at a kilogram I think. Don't know cause I've never ordered more than a kilogram in one order.

Where is this place located, Jupiter? | That's what sellers used to do on ebay, cheap price with high shipping (and handling). They stopped that on ebay awhile back but I havn't ordered from there in a long time so don't know how it is now. Anyone know if some sellers sneak in "handling" charges under shipping like they once did? |

| eBay will actually reduce your search ranking if you charge more for shipping than the average for similar products. Now eBay on the other hand, I can never figure out how much they charge me and for what.

| Another approach yielded only $7.85 per unit, for shipping by adding 12 units to the cart. This might work out if you are going to resell them. |

| Yea, that's $30.85 per kit, maybe even a little less if you ordered more.
At least it doesn't come in pink.

| The $9 is probably his profit. It's hard to do business when the Chinese are backdooring you with the same prices. |

The Chinese make everything! Our PV's, liquid, PT's, chargers, PCC's, carts, etc. and so on. A very competitive world over there from what I understand of it. The major players sit back with there 100 piece orders of one SKU# or model. They really have quantities that would make any vapers head spin. You have to play their game if you ever want to win.
Here is part of a post I made chatting with a few of my UK friends (Different Forum) dealing with primary manufacturers in China. The subject was dealing with major manufacturers of the 084 (What else would I talk about!)
You may find it informative of the way things work over there:
-=Cut & Paste=- "They really are very nice chaps over there and I was told they have a patent on something or other, nic-liquids, the 84mm (you have to love metric, the universal language!) and my inquiries were well received after loosely translated I was "After much loved for 84mm gadget proforma order PCC?" , anyway there was more and I did manage to give them my email address. Shortly after I was inundated with photos from whom I can only presume was one of their many vendors, photos of some of the most lovely e-cigs! (I must admit I wanted a lot of them for my collection!), they were followed by a distributors price list with a 100pc minimum...each!. (Nice prices though.. .$19usd for a manual 510 set (2) cigs and the shipping over there will kill you!)
Heeelloooo come on... do I look like I have $1900+ for a bunch of 510's?!!!
I did however manage to wrangle some 084 PCC's".
(Yet to arrive I must add, "Must be on a slow boat from C..." Well..you all know the drill.) "

| Been thinking about this "wholesale" stuff showing up on VapeAtron. I don't want to be a re-seller, don't want to order $1900 at one time (have probably, but spread it out), and thought at first "why post wholesale prices in here along side the smalltime LLC sellers". But this is a source of information for them also. And, competition among the 'Big Guys' is probably a good thing. Maybe a couple could comment on that?
A good web search brings these wholesalers up anyway. Maybe a "Wholesalers Hype" section? Maybe I ought to check first and see if it's already there?
Maybe we jump too fast when we see a new add. It might not be intended for us "end users".

(still searching for the end of the internet) | My point exactly! We have to look at what started this thread in the first place; wholesale "hype" and hidden shipping costs. None of us knew at the time where the posters actual location was. ( Hey, I went there pretty darn quick!) Nor did any of us at the time know wholesale, retail, what?
I, like yourself and many other members here would like to save money, we have all seen the posts for "cheapest", "best price", etc., but not at the cost of trading our end user, collector, casual buyer roles for them. What did we expect to happen? We do have to interpret what are real needs are and whether we just want to vape or make money vaping.
Myself, as any collector would, looks for unique finds, mods, tips & tricks and like mind collectors that I can share my finds with. When I have to purchase quantity to obtain a certain piece, I share with others of like mind, trade with other users ( little dealers too!), and in doing so keep costs down ( primarily shipping) to feed my latest obsession. It does add a new dimension to vaping for me. Again, lets think before we click and to each their own. ( Besides its fun!!)
Anyway... that's my 2 cents. ( Wonder what the shipping costs are on pennies?)

| I've put in a lot of 2 cents worth, Who gets to keep all of these?
I bet there is a "PILE" of pennies someplace around here.

Whoops, This is the Supplier Hype section, I'm in the wrong place.

| Well if the suppliers would allow peeps to order one product at retail price instead of requiring a big order, sort of a sample, that would be a help. Even for those who want to distribute eventually. Who wants to buy a pig in a poke, a whole pallet?
Why turn down a single order at retail price? Like I saw a great product under "Suppliers Hype" Retailers Wanted, I went to their site that had this cool product, a solar powered eCig charger. Decent price but can't tell if it is retail or wholesale price. Wish these suppliers would clarify on their sites, that would help.
Maybe it's the legalities of being registered as a wholesaler with the Gov, tho I'll bet they could work around that somehow.....

| I am actually a little concerned that Edukhan from cigdealer has not weighed in on any of this. As competetive as this market is becoming, you would think a new etailer like this would at least have some logical answers. I know there must be a bit of a delay between here and Juipter, but surely he must have gotten the message by now.
