| So, like the title says, I just received my first ecig, the kr808d1. My first impression is that it is big. It's much bigger than the L88 that my friend loaned me to try out. I was expecting it to be similar in size, but it's much longer. I have read that we noobies usually end up wanting a larger one after initially wanting similar sizes to analogs, so i'm willing to let it go, but at the moment I must admit i'm a little disappointed. Is this really considered a micro, like in the cig types section? I've seen some other pages where it was considered a mini. I may have to buy another that is similar to an L88 to take to the bar. I'm pretty sure I'll get over the size, but it's just over 4.5 inches long, much longer than an analog. I'm also aware that they make smaller batteries. I'm pretty sure I got the standard battery though. In any case, I'm still excited to start my life as a vaper. |

| Hey, it's not that big
If the battery part is about 3.5 inches long, thats the long battery.
You don't want to show up puffing on the same dang thing everyone else has, do you?
Good luck.

| oh wait!!! one little modding trick that you might need to do to your batteries....i couldnt get enough air flow through my battery so i used my mini push drill and opened up one of the air holes on one side of the threads on the battery. it gave tons of more air and vapor, just experiment. |

| Lol. Well I just filled 4 empty carts. I can't believe i'm smoking Mt. Dew. Awesome. My only worry is that the batteries won't fit in the PCC when it arrives. May need to get a shorty to put in the PCC as my backup. That'd be no big deal though. Thanks! |

| Got the dew from strictlyejuice. I haven't noticed the air thing, but I don't have much experience to judge against. Seems better than the L88 though. |

I used to use a big thick rubber band to hold the longer batts in the case to charge. I used the rubber band off a bunch of broccoli crowns. Doesn't look as cool but it does work in a pitch.
After you've been vaping awhile you probably wont even use a PCC. Most of us experienced vapers probably carry what will get us through the day and an extra just in case backup round.

| So been using this thing tonight, and it's kind of wierd. I'll take a pull on it, and it seems like it is pulling kind of hard, then when i stop pulling, it's like it shoots the vapor out. Not a smooth draw at all. Is this normal? |

ya i'm sure if you just opened one up it would draw like a dream. but only do one and try it if you can. open it too much and the air flow would be so great and it wont activate the battery, dont ask how i know lol |

| i like the automatic kr's because i can use it while driving or walking. i'm seriously thinkin of buying a 510 manual so i dont look like a doper to other people while at the club/bar with my lovely TP. like i said the kr808 is the best starter next to the 510 in my opinion. (when compared to analog size's)

| I found some shorty kr batteries on vapor4life. Gonna get a couple of those to take out to the bar with me. As far as the vapor and flavor, I think It's to do with the new carts and the pg juice. I'm going to get some vg and see how it goes. Is there a difference to the carts? I learned today I have hard tip carts. Are soft better? Is there a difference in cart quality? Where would be a good place to get good quality carts? |

Mike at Smokeless Cigarettes | Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cig sells soft cap 808 carts, his D-1 are nice too. the d-1's are basically the same thing except it has different material inside. |
