| YIPPEE! I just got my first ecig in the mail today! It's a 901. There are a few problems though...
I put a 16 mg cart on it and the filler is hanging out around the bottom of the cart. Also, I can't get the cart back off so that I can stuff the filler back in it, and it seems to be stopped up! I can't get any air through it! What do I do about these things? |

| Kdadija,
Unscrew the battery from the atomizer. You don't want to put any force on that joint.
The fit of some cartridges is pretty tight and will get loose the more you tack it off to and juice.
If some filler material (or the little clear plastic cup) is jammed in the cart-atm joint then you may have to rock and twist to get it separated. I bet you have it apart before you even read this
Look over a new cartridge very closely to see how the filler is installed (some have a spot of glue holding them in. Don't pull it out.
But my first guess is the clear cup was still on the cartridge when you put it together. Would also explain no draw (completely sealed).
Remember: take off the battery before usingthe hammer and pliers.

Yeah LOL! I have it off. I looked into the atty and it looks like there's a bit of clear plastic in it. But there was no plastic in the cart.
I don't see a clear cup in the cart, only see the filler. I can get a fair draw on it now. What's that bit of plastic in the atty? Should I try and get it out of there?
Hey, going to church tomorrow (a very relaxed church) and I'm gonna take my ecig! LOL! |

| Yes if it really is clear plastic, it will melt.
Look inside the cap of another brand new cartridge for a clear plastic seal. The cap alone will not seal up the cartridge for shipping/storage. But it is not used when vaping. Examine yur product very close.

| This plastic seal fits inside the cartridge storage cap. The sharp edge of the atmomizer can cut it off. and some of it gets inside the atomizer (bad).

| Maybe that's what the clear plastic is in the atty, because I don't think I noticed the plastic cover on the first cart I tried. I'd best get it out of there! |

| I planning on getting some juice and dripping. How long will I be able to use a blank cart that way? |

| Great, go slow at first, these take a little getting used to.
You will need your juice very soon.
One very important caution:: do not continue to draw if your cart goes dry. Unless you already have many spare atmomizers- draw on a dry atomiser and KILL it. Let it sit for a minute or so and a little of the juice may migrate to the atomizer for a few more puffs.
Happy vaping. Until you get used to the e-cig, the analogs from Ky may be of some use
Rocket
I used 2 cartridges for 11 days on vacation. Now its time to replace the filler.
atmomizers? i meant atomizers.

| Khadijah, Dripping juice on the atomizer and using a blank (i.e. no filler) cart, you can use the cart pretty much forever. Filling empty carts from a bottle of juice kinda depends on the juice. I'm still refilling the same cart now for almost 2 weeks and it's working great. I washed the filler once though because it started looking brown and nasty after vaping some coffee flavored juice. |

| godling,
use some of the Loranns Grape flavor.
Just a few drops turns everything purple.
You can't see the brown.
What you don't know won't hurt you, right? |

| LOL Rocketman! Might have to give that a try The brown from the coffee rinsed right out though, didn't even have to put any effort into it. |

I really don't want to wash the cart. Too much work. I'd be washing all the time it seems. I plan to drip. Thanks for letting me know that way the empty cart will last forever! |

I smoke about 40 analogues a day. That, I think would be about 7 cart fillings a day.
My 901 kit came with 5 filled carts, and one empty. I can't order juice untill Monmday. Broke till then. |

| Not much work at all.
My wife and I walked the mall in DC with ecigs. when we needed to add juice the botle came out and we squeezed a little juice into the filler material. Maybe didn't fill it to the bottom but got plenty in. Could do it walking.
If you promise not to tell, we also did this while driving to DC. |

LOLOL! You're killing me!
Okay, if I fill, how many times can I refill a cart without replacing the filler? And I smoke 1200 analogues a month, how many carts would I need to buy to equal that if I DON'T replace the filler? Oh, and do I buy pre-filled carts? Is that the only way top get filler in them to start with?(Then it would already have juice in them). |

| I do both. I can squeeze 10 or more drops into the end of the filler material at one time and still watch the road.
Search for the little squares technique for filler material.
someone in here made a comment about the material they found at WallyWorld. $7 dollars worth would make a lifetime supply for 7 people.
I made a mistake months back and ordered over 100 cartridges from China. Man thats a years supply, easy.

R | Do you mean you order 100 filled carts or blanks?
I did see the post about the filler from Wally World. I'll check it again, because I remember it told the brand name of it. |

| I don't bother with dripping anymore, I just dip mine in the juice. I bought a contact lens carrying case that holds the contacts in solution. I now have a left for flavored and right for tobacco flavor juice, when my Dragon atomizer gets dry after 10-15 hits I just take the filter cap off and dip in the atomizer and let it stay for 10 seconds to wick up juice and replace the filter cap and vape away. Much easier, cleaner and more accurate than dripping with no misses or juice running into the battery. About 10 drops of liquid is the perfect depth for dipping juice while only getting the atomizer wet. Too bad that won't work with the 510 models because the atomizer don't stick out requiring either dripping or carts all the time. I can also dip a lot easier and safer while driving if I had too although I make it a rule not to.
EDIT: Fluval is the name of the filler material I believe your looking for. It is better than the original polyfil they use and absolutely perfect for the 510 and other carts that shape, although they are great for all kinds they really lend themselves to the rectangle shape and just slide right in, no pushing and jamming needed. You can find it in the aquarium supplies, it is used as a water filter or polisher. Cheap and a box of it should last you about 5 years or so. You can find it any pet store or department store with a pet department I imagine.
