I mentioned I was going to make this in my Atty Dryer thread.

I used a scrap piece of 3/4" white oak about 5 x 16, drilled a BUNCH of holes on a grid pattern at a 15 degree angle. This will hold all my batterys, attys and carts for my 510's. I wanted to add something extra to it, so I cut a couple more pieces with a 15 degree angle along one edge of them and added them.

I accidently drilled through the face on one of the extra pieces when I was attaching it ; so, they both got a black walnut inlay!

I finished by giving a good coat of clear finish to protect it, and added a couple small hinges to attach it to the side of the hutch on my computer desk:

Next (after it's good and dry), I'll attach it to the side of my computer desk.

and make one for your 901s, and another for your 401s? I guess a desk pencil holder for the 801s would be OK. You need an itty bitty cup holder for juice. How about an insert for the cup holder in your car? Holes for a couple e-cigs, bottle of juice, drops into the cup holder. Burled walnut would look nice in the Merc.

Great idea Rocket - I've been thinking of doing something better than just throwing all that stuff in a cupholder. Little 3ml juice bottle falls over and tends to dribble just a bit.

My truck (daily driver) has "genuine simulated rosewood burl plastic" in the dash. We have a little hardwood store around here called Sawdust & Shavings; they have a great remnant pile of a myriad of species - many varieties I've never seen or heard of before. I should find something and turn an insert...

I bring a couple extra batteries and 3ml juice to work:

I keep a USB charger attached to my monitor, and keep a spare atty in the drawer just in case. So, not much stuff at work.

Thanks Stehle - I haven't made sawdust for a living in almost 20 years, but I still love to get out there and play!
