A few more Juice thoughts- Some time back i got the 555 from Vapor Country, and it's my favorite 555 to date. While I was there I grabbed a few they had on clearance for something like 2 bucks per 10ml. Raisin rum, bourbon vanilla, Oriental tobacco, and plain tobacco. They seem to get the bulk of their juices from a Croatian site which goes by the ubiquitous moniker of "ELiquid Shop", which offers several juice lines, including one called "Totally Green".

The raisin rum and the bourbon vanilla were, at least to begin with, somewhat invisible. I tasted nothing at all in my atty, but I plan to revisit them, because since then, I've discovered that their Tobacco is AWESOME. It's just slightly sweet, with a nicely rounded tobacco mellowness at it's belly, and a very faint hint of tannin or astringent at the very back. (Most probably wouldn't even notice that- but it does give a pleasant character!) I went back to VaporCountry to get more- only to find them sold out! Bummer. But thankfully, the makers have decent prices and shipping, though nowhere NEAR the bargain I got from ValleyVapor!

The Oriental Tobacco they offered is a little less good to me, but still an excellent tobacco taste. It's a bit darker, noticeably less sweet, with a lot more of the tobacco skunkiness that I know many enjoy, although I don't care for it myself. Probably good for someone who's just starting and wants a closer to analog taste. I can't really compare it to any analog now, since I don't even recall what any of them tasted like at this point. I will say- it's not as toasty a Turkish, but the skunky notes lean in that direction.

Coming back to VaporCountry's 555, it absolutely defines that flavor, imho. It's nutty and golden and warm, while still maintaining a clean tobacco finish. Every other 555 I taste now is held against this one in comparison. Decent prices too- although rather annoyingly, they only seem to sell it in 10ml bottles and no one has responded to my inquiry about larger quantities. Still- it's been the holidays, so I'm cutting a ton of slack there. They do ship quick, and have low shipping rates.

To'dja so! One thing though- I'm getting the idea from reading (not that I've experienced this myself or anything,) that dark liquids can tend to clog an atty faster, so atty hygiene is probably a MUST with that stuff. For those who haven't tried this liquid, it's BLACK.

Can't identify the flavor of the coffee, its 'not bad tasting just vapable but uncoffee like.
I think from watching juice reviews that the darker the juice the quicker it fouls the Atomiser/Cart It sure does for me.
If we keep quiet and Berger PMs me I may be able to unload the menthol smoke, as long as I don't have to fill out a hazmat tag to send it to him.

Tried the Totally Green Rum Raisin and Vanilla Bourbon again. Confirming that on a standard 510 in a clean atty, they both taste ... like air. No flavor to my taste buds at all.

Also received a shipment from Fairy's Finest. (Flavors only- no nic)
Large 4oz bottles, and a sample set of 4 she sent for just 13.50. Sounds like a super deal- if they aren't totally rank tasting. I ordered Pistachio, Chocolate, Rose, and Butter.

The butter's sweet right out of the bottle. Haven't used it for anything yet.

The Rose had my interest piqued. It smells lovely- like a rosewater- so I mixed it up at about 20% with some pg/vg 36, tasted... nothing. Added more. Tasted... nothing. Tasted a little straight from the bottle on my fingertip- tastes lovely. Not concentrated at all, really though. Planning to try vaping it straight from the bottle.

Chocolate... like the rose, it smelled terrific, and just like it should. Rich and chocolatey. After the rose experience, I vaped this one straight from the bottle, with nothing added. Tasted... burnt cocoa. Not altogether a bad taste, and I could see including it as a tobacco note, but it's not a clean chocolate flavor, and is obviously "cooking" on the atty, despite FF's claim that the stuff's formulated to withstand heat. I have 4 oz. I imagine I'll use it in the kitchen or in my coffee.

Pistachio: This one is a treat- though not what I expected at all. First off it's green. I mean, REEEEEEALLY green. In the bottle, it's a dark lime. Mixed, it quickly turns neon. If you're adventurous, this is fun in it's own right. I've mixed it in all sorts of configurations, so I'll just characterize the stuff. It's nutty, and extremely herbal. (no, I DON'T mean the 420 kind.) Roommate says it tastes green. It really does. In a very very nice way! By itself, you can taste pistachios, and a tannic or possibly citrusy note. Added to anything else, you get less nut flavor, but it carries that citrusy flavor through, and gives almost anything a distinct and very different character. I can't say I love it as an All-day vape, but it's a refreshing change-up when I want to clean my pallet. Vaping right now with a little RY4, and I'm thinking it reminds me of succulents. faintly honeydew, or cucumber.

Not going to rate these... but I will say, they really aren't vape flavorings, in my opinion. Some are too weak to vape, others don't handle the heat. The pistachio... VERY good and interesting, but not very pistachio-like.

You do good reviews Flash. Taste being subective you give good subjective opinions and interest will be either piqued or put aside and time and money saved . Thank you, Milady.

I have to agree, the darker the juice the quicker it fouls up the machinery.

I have purchased from Faries Finest before, and it is hit and miss with the flavors. The bananna is okay, they have a mixed berry that is decent, they also have a flavor called pie spice that can be good with fruit flavors like apple or cherry but keep it to less than 1/4 of the spice as it can overpower the fruit real quick.

Some of the other flavors lacked the right quality for vaping. I tried the wintergreen and it has a odd flavor, not really bad, but not what I would call good either, definately tough to find the wintergreen flavor in it. Likely it will be headed for the garbage can if I can't find something it works with soon. I like mint, but it has a funky flavor when vaped that overpowers the wintergreen.

Have to agree on the chocolate, not exactly the flavor I was looking for, but might mix okay. I have a couple other flavors I have not decided if I like or not, Creme de cafe and the Hazelnut. The Creme de cafe seems to be okay, the Hazelnut is a bit like the chocolate in that it resembles the flavor, but does not exactly vape as the flavor, I have not tried mixing it with other flavors very much yet, it may or may not avoid the trash receptical.

Some of the Faries Finest flavors are okay, some are not, however for the price it's probably worth the risk of trying a few, 2 fl. oz for $4 is a real good deal when you find a decent flavor. Lorann's and Capella have pretty good flavors and seem to vape okay for the most part, however they are a lot more expensive too. (over double the cost of faries finest)

Most welcome, B- I just try to describe my experience as accurately as I can. Honestly, I'm MUCH better at studying and disecting other peoples mixes and flavors than I am at mixing my own. *lol* But to me, the sensory thing- really thinking about what you taste and smell and feel- is like an amusement park on my tongue. I really enjoy it. I can be distracted by studying a vape to the point where I'll totally miss what's on the TV when it's on right in front of me.

Maybe it's because I have been vaping chocolates right from the start, but I haven't really noticed any difference.

Don't trashcan those! The wintergreen might find a home with Berger if you absolutely must banish it! Anyway, her flavors were originally designed for the kitchen, so you might try them in food.

did you get the "burnt" flavor I mentioned from the chocolate? Was the change you noticed in the Wintergreen or the hazelnut a similar change? I'm curious, since Hazelnut's high on my list, and hers really are cheap.

This is me exactly. I am very random with my techniques and the sad thing is when I think I am doing them exactly the same, they come out differently.
And if I even thought about writing down the recipe, I wouldn't be able to read it either.

I have not tried the chocolate or the hazelnut alone, I have mixed them with mint and/or menthol, so it's hard to say how they are by themselves. I may try mixing up some solo and be able to give a better estimate of the flavor.

The wintergreen just has a funky aftertaste to it, almost like black licorice, not bad, just not what I was looking for. (and I like black licorice)

Yup. I make them up as I go along. Of course, I am mixing already mixed juices together, but every once in a while I run across a "yum" and then can't remember how I made it...

*nods* Yeah- more often than not, it's not even in a bottle. I just drip mix right in the atty. Hmmm chocolate Lust... what if I add a little Brownie Batter to that? Ooo... how about some "Awww, Nuts" mix....?"

Flash, have you ever tried "French Pipe" tobacco flavor? I just got some from goodprophets as a freebie and am really enjoying it . Had forgotten how nice it was.
Sort of like 555 without the nuttiness.
They also sell their drip tips for 99cents, just picked up some stuff and they comped me the 3ml of FP and an 801 drip tip.
