| I just bought this joystick 18650 from ecig city in Laguma beach and love this thing! For the money it is great! My only issue is the threading from the tube to the screw on cap that houses the activation button! What are your experiences with this mod. |

| MV go to Lowes or home depot and in the electrical section you'll find a tube of lube/antioxidation compound that will help smooth out the thread action and won't hurt conductivity.

| Except the bottomless well of information i gathered over 65 yrs wouldn't release the name of the stuff i was recommending. At least you only have to look around in a garbage can,I have to search the whole dump for info.

| I have been looking for a thread, but can't seem to find it (imagine that ) I got one of the 18650 mods like the one pictured above. I love it thus far. I remembered a thread where some one was saying that a certain mod wasn't safe, because it didn't have vent holes. Was it this one? I hope not. |

Look at my video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KE2ufN6lKRE - at 11:00 into the vid, I get into the 18650 and button issue (eventually)
Today I was vaping it, and it flashed- then shut itself off.
I was holding down the button the whole time- so it must have flickered "on/off/on/off/on/off/on/off/on.... and wentinto shut down mode- if i mash the button it doesn't flicker.
bottom line. I'm glad I only paid $13 for the switch- I needed a 510 connection for a pipe mod I wanted to build, so when it dies, it will still be vaped upon! (in some form)

I have this unit, my button stopped clicking after a week. Other than that I love this this! The new switch is only 12 bucks to replace!

| DAMN! felt I better share this- The more info the better, right!
Lesson learned...
-You get what you pay for-
Joyetech $12 (lasts a week?) vs $200 SuperT (lasts a lifetime)
Ordering SuperT 18650 Right Now...
Question- With the eGo line improving with time- why would Joyetech put out a crappy product like this?
I guess I'll have to do a follow-up video this weekend, and see how it's holding up. |

| Well, chinese stuff is chinese stuff anyway you slice it. All of them seem plagued with a disposable mentality to keep the price minimized. I wonder which engineering school keeps telling them 65% of the final design requirements is "Crose anuf"
Quality contlol?!?!...Duty cycle??!...no time for duty..

| I think that frequently on this stuff we don't know what is built into these things and specifically what the limits of operability are.
Someone somewhere may have known that holding the vape button through several autotimer cycles will cause damage to the switch circuitry. It may have not crossed the Pacific but the info was known just poorly communicated. If operated within specs and expectations are a little lower, knowing the cheapness of the components things might work better than reputation would lead you to believe.
My wife has "broke" 5 Riva,Vgo and Helo016 batteries doing the same thing Wylde Rice did;I haven't lost any yet. I told her to not lean on the button and she hasn't blowed up any in months.
