Just got mine from Altsmoke, messing with the spare battery while the other one gets its initial charge.
I've done a lot of reading to get caught up on issues people have hit with this model. So far, my carts fit quite tightly. However I can definitely see how the leakages occur, though I'm curious if some of that residue would get vaporized in continued use on mine.
The battery is DEFINITELY sensitive. You have to take very gentle draws on this thing. Not really a knock against it so far, it's just different. I do like the thick vapour it puts out- definitely tasting my chocalmondilla flavour en masse.
Been reading that most major issues with this model come up after a week or three of use, so I'll update if something weird hits mine.
Overally so far, it's pretty nice. Just feels kinda like you have to handle it with kid gloves and check the parts a little often.
Also, MASSIVE thanks to Rob@Altsmoke for being an awesome guy! He's definitely earned his stripes as a seller in my opinion. That and he threw in some empty carts due to a brief shipping error. Altsmoke definitely ranks up there as one of my most recommended sellers.

Hey, congrats on your new purchase.
I will have to say Rob@altsmoke is one nice guy. I chatted with him via his online chat for a bit back when he was pre-selling the Yeti's and he answered every one of my questions promptly and honestly. Looks like his site is under construction right now (probably getting ready to unveil something cool ), but he still has his chat program available. How cool is that?
I really wanted to get the Yeti, but that was right after I purchased my first ecig (didn't have it in hand either), and wasn't sure if I was going to like e-smoking.
I wouldn't worry too much about the reported problems. Rob will hook you up very nicely if you do encounter any issues.
Good luck with your new ecig. Please report back. We'd love to hear about your experiences.

I love my 510s better than any other I have ever had. If the 901 is a porsche, the 501 is an NHRA top fuel dragster.

I got my first 510 3 weeks ago and am really getting used to vaping now. I have just ordered my 3rd kit on Wednesday. Hopfully I will have enough parts to survive to FDA attack on our freedom. This is a life saving device for me.

The 510 can be had with auto or manual batteries. Other names (interchange parts) from (your list isn't complete): Dura, Dura-C, Joye 510, Yeti (AltSmoke and others), Titan (Totally Wicked).
Older PCCs don't have a 'groove' to fit the button on the manual batteries, but can be done yourself. Newer PCCs have a groove cut into the battery slot, allowing either manual or auto batteries to fit without hassle.

I really like my 510. I received it last Thursday from electronicstix.com. I am very pleased so far. I tried
two other models before this one and all I can this one BLOWS them away. Make sure you buy a USB
through pass device. You will not be waiting for the batteries to charge. Jason gave me first class service
at electronicstix.com. and he has great prices and smoke juices. HIGH recommend the 510 ****
I have not wanted a real Cig since I started vaping. Stay away from Blu e-Cigs they are cheaply made.

I got my 510 about 4 hours ago. I got a pass thru with it so I didn't have to wait for batteries to charge. I've heard so many good things here about it that I will give it more of a chance but so far I sure like my e-cigar I got from e-cig usa much better. I've read that the 510 puts out tons of vapor and great throat hits but so far my e-cigar beats it all to heck. It's a nice looking thing though and after getting used to the switch I think that'll be good too. I guess I like it I just like my e-cigar better......so far.

nebraskapuffer,
You will have to let the battery in the pass-through charge up before it will perform at it's maximum also. Your regular batteries should charge up in an hour or two. Give it all a chance.

Does anyone know how long the button on the 510 and be pressed safely? I'm afraid to hold it too long but what is too long?

I just received my 510 and got the first battery charged. I eagerly put it to my lips and tried my first drag. Disappointment. Loaded up a freshly filled cart (maybe the ones it came with were old). Disappointment again. It took quite a while of trial and error before it was producing acceptable vapor, but I still can't get the "tons and tons" people brag about. I've learned to take long, slow drags ... to the point where my atomizer gets too hot to at times, but still only decent vapor. What's the trick here? What am I doing wrong? Or am I just comparing it to the wrong eCig and should be thankful for the performance of my M401?

Your 510s broke! Pm me and I'll give it a good home with other pv's....No dude, Learning curve, that's what I'm learning with the 801. Keep vaping your M401s then hit the 510 now and then, and as you and your 510 get more time together, things will happen. Don't force it really. I did with my 801 and it cost me $40-$50
Oh, also light puffing is for the 801, hit that 510!

LOL @ coffeepot
I have found that after puffing on the 510 for a couple hours, my 401 becomes unsatisfying. Switching back to the 401 for a couple hours, my 510 becomes unsatisfying.
I have decided that the M401 and the 510 are very comparable products with a very different vaping style required. Once you're used to one, you end up hitting the other the same way and fail to get a good drag.

510Titan, Flat Black/Brass, manual:
Got a refresh kit from innovapor, and some of the ECOpure juice (Rich Flavor).
I'm pretty much used to manual operation (got a post somewhere on a Flashlight mod) but this thing is nice. Did 701s, 801s, 901s, 901s, and more 901s, a couple of 84mm, and now this 510. Of them all I like them all best. Well maybe except the 84. The little white cigarettes with the orange LED gave way to the glossy black with the blue LED, then colors (I don't do pink). The pair of Flat Black and Brass 510s sitting on the table really look nice, seem to vape just fine. Would fit right in with a little black dress and heels in a nice bistro. That is if I did little black dresses and heels. This seems to be the hot model this week. Find one and try it. Thanks innovapor.
Rocket
Oh and I also got a PCC from the Widow.

510 SUPPLIER CONTEST
I am really impressed with the 510 I just got. Hope it lasts, but for day one, so far, I love it. I want to order another kit. I bet others out there in vaporland would also.
My challenge to suppliers is this:
A 48 HOUR SALES CONTEST for a 2 battery, 2 atomizer, 5 cartridge, AC charger kit for as close to $50 shipped as you can get. Extras like juice, and extra anything for the lowest price, warranted for at least 14 days from receipt (not a DOA deal) will be considered the winner. If there are any takers, I will evaluate the best deal and I WILL BUY ONE Thursday morning from the winner. Post your offers here, get set, GO !!!

I really don't want to interfere with the contest but the point is to make it easier to pick a winner. I'm not going to go to each web site and go through the checkout process just to find the hidden "Final Price". Both contestants so far have presented a good deal, thanks guys. They might even be all "SOLD OUT" before Thursday morning. Now that wouldn't really be a "BAD" thing, now would it? BTW, only 56 cents difference between the two good deals so far
