Ok, well I am sitting at home enjoying my freshly charged Joye302 and I must say, I am VERY impressed! This might be my new favorite e-cigarette! Yes, it is that good.
For a bit of background information, Joye Tech makes Janty's electronic cigarettes. In fact, Joye Tech claims the 302 comes off the same assembly line as the Janty Classic.
My starter kit came with 1 atomizer, 2 batteries, 10 carts, wall charger, US plug, instructions and a nice green box complete with magnetic lid

. I purchased this for approximately $47 including shipping from eBay seller
rjm_cols. Unfortunately, Janty doesn't sell the plain 'ol classic anymore, so I can't compare price. The new line, Janty Kissbox Classic sells for about $97+s/h. Only real difference (hardware bundle wise) is that the Kissbox comes with a separate manual switch and a separate automatic switch. As far as I know, the Joye302 is compatible with the Kissbox, but don't quote me on that.
First thing I noticed was how easy the draw was and how much vapor it produced. Wow! TONS OF VAPOR and so easy to inhale. It is complimented with a nice throat hit to boot. This blows my RN-4072 out of the water. It is so light a draw that even the slightest breath will turn it on. This can be a bad thing since I tend to bite the tip and hold the ecig in my mouth. Breathing normally (without the intention to inhale) will activate it.
The second thing I noticed is that it made my ejuice taste so much better. I have been saying all along that my Janty Red Cow liquid has a strawberry flavor. Well, it might actually be cherry, LOL... (my tastes buds aren't what they used to be folks). At any rate, the flavor was outstanding.
However, it quickly became apparnt that the Joye302 sucks juice like no other. I think I put 3 or 4 drops in when I left work and by the time I got home it had already petered out. My DSE-901 is the same way, but my RN-4072 will vape all the way from door to door without ever getting weak. I did only put juice in the 302 with the blank cart (no wool), so this might change if I were to drip into the atomizer and top off a cart. But then again, my RN-4072 only has a blank cart in it as well. This thirst for juice might be due to the fact that it is so easy to inhale.
Another downside is that once the juice starts to get dry, you can really taste the atomizer (metallic/sulfuric taste). This is pretty common with ecigs, and there might be some break in period on the atomizer. One final note though, the atomizer made a pretty audible sizzling sound. It has pretty much calmed down right now, but it was pretty apparent. I'm not that worried about it. Generally this will go away with use.
I wasn't planning on this post being a full blown review, but I have so much to say about my new found love

. In fact, one of the first things I tried was to see if my RN-4072 batteries fit. They sure do. Although, I don't know the specs on either of the batteries, so I would not recommend swapping batteries out. I didn't try screwing in the 302 battery to the 4072 charger or vise versa either. The 4072 is only rated at 100mA, while the 302 charger is rated at 200mA. So, I would recommend using only the appropriate charger with the appropriate battery.
My poor little 'ol 4072 might get docked to strickly usb passthrough work from now on. OH, that reminds me. The atomizer does get hot fairly quickly. Not as quick as my 901, but quicker than my 4072. It sits somewhere in the middle.
Overall, for the price and performance of the Joye302, I would recommend this over the DSE-901; even for beginners. My only concern would be the availablity of replacement parts. The eBayer I purchased from does sell the parts, but not a lot of other places do.
EDIT: I should also make a note that the size of the Joye302 is not 108mm. My unofficial measurement was about 153-154mm. Right in range with every other penstyle. I have no idea if they used to be 108mm and the increased the size of the battery or what. However,
Joyetech.com still lists the 302 as 108mm.
