| A MAP tank? How does it work? A regular cartomizer, the MAP tank, but how will the mouthpiece fit? Sorry... very new to vaping, so I'm not familiar with advanced mods... all I know is the battery, cartomizer and fluid

| Oh, I have a cartopipe already, the regular one, but I find it a bit of a hassle to top it off(?) (or top up?) every so often. Hence my interest in the tank... I visited Romaniac's site, but I couldn't find any modified tanks. I'd rather use the pipe's original mouthpiece than with another tip...

Thanks for the help! | Oh...which one do you have? If you read Romaniac's post, he made an extender to fit the tank on. If the end is a standard size, you should be able to use any mouthpiece you wish.

| I just have the one which uses regular cartomizers... what do you mean standard size? the cartomizer? I guess... so the extender and custom map tank cap are now available from romaniac? nice...

| it's a very simple design. He had posted diagrams at one time. It's a simple mechanical switch, a short battery, a 510 connector and a carto, and an "extender" for the MAP tank. I would be willing to bet you could make an "extender" from an old 510 atomizerthat someone burned out in three days, and a 510 battery connector.

You gut the atomizer, solder a wire to the center connector of the atomizer and the battery connector, press the battery connector into the open end of the atomizer and you have an extender. I think extenders are also available by themselves...

| Fraz,I think the mouthpiece butts up against the MAP tank. You should ask Romaniac if a custom tank is used. His email addy is on his website.

| I like to use cartos with 2mm wide slots cuts. Every time I was refilling the tank i was shredding a little piece of the interior o-ring. This will eliminate that. | |
