| I want one... simply becuz of look... feel... quality.... but it offers nothing i dont have to already... guess after attorney is paid iwill look into one.. maybe...
if it was $80 or less i would own one... probably

| I've read several reviews and there all good, it's a well built simple handcrafted mechanical pipe mod that uses replaceable cartos. I will have one some day. Been trying to interest my father in this, so he'll put away his tobacco pipe for good.

| His website is a bit lacking, really not enough info about accessory choices. That's why you have to email him to get more info and pricing for add-ons or wood choices, finishes or customising, anything other than light or dark wood.

I got one of these a month or so ago, but didn't get the batteries from Romaniac. Then, I ordered batteries, but got...nothing. Charger but empty blisters where the batteries were supposed to be! So, I FINALLY got the batteries and fired it up.
One word: WOW! I have tried a lot of stuff, have made my own stuff, and NOTHING I have had yet even comes CLOSE to putting out this much vapor! It came with some sample cartos, and I'm not sure the specs on them, but the vapor is voluminous and smooth. They were already loaded and it even kind of tastes a bit like a pipe. Not too much, but nice.
The Awesome: First off, the look of it. It looks like an excellent tobacco pipe. Very nice wood look with a nice mouthpiece. The first thing you notice out of the ordinary is a gold metal disc on the top and a knob protruding in front of it. More on that in a minute.
Then, there's the vapor. Again...WOW! I'm talking a huge cloud here.
The good: The disc is the battery cover. You put in the battery and slide the cover over it. The knob is the switch. The best part is, this is a completely mechanical switch. You press the knob and it makes the connection, and juice flows. Nothing to fizzle out and render your device a brick. Very easy to actuate. Very simple device. You place the cartridge in the 510 style connector, slip the mouthpiece on and vape. The battery slides in with very little effort but makes a firm contact.
The bad: so far, only one bad thing to report. You need a long carto to fit this, and I believe Romaniac has an adapter to use smaller length cartos with it, but a CE2 XL's girth is too much to fit. PERHAPS it could be bored out to accommodate one, but I am not going to be doing that. The Joye cartomizers fit perfectly. So does a BOGE XL... | |
