That is true. Compatibility is all about the threads, and most are different on purpose so that you stay with that "brand".

The upcoming Yeti from AltSmoke.com looks like it might be the same components (the black version photo on their site looks like one of the Janty photos with all the Janty watermarks removed ).

Ahh, ok I see it now. Your right, it does look the same. Even the box looks the same... And for $60 you get an extra atomizer... I emailed to see if it is the same.

The Yeti is the same as the Janty Dura. I just got mine in from TheSmokeSafe.com - The #1 Source For E-Cigs, Parts, Accessories and Supplies! and I'm loving it. Even got an extra atomizer and USB charger with it. The USB charger will be nice to have since I can take it to work to charge batteries.

The DURA C is a mega work horse.. It cranks out hit after hit. Clouds of smoke.. I have had mine since they came out and no problems.. The batts are long lasting. I have been getting 5 to 7 hours.. They recharge in 2.. The manual switch batts work great.. You can use them in windy conditions.. Even while riding your hog.. Or what ever you have... The atomizers are easy to clean .. And you can drip juice till your hearts content... Carts hold lots of juice.. If your a heavy smoker its the one for you..

The Dura = auto battery version, -C = manual batteries. Other names (interchange parts) from (your list isn't complete): Dura, Dura-C, Joye 510, Yeti (AltSmoke and others), Titan (Totally Wicked).
Older PCCs don't have a 'groove' to fit the button on the manual batteries, but can be done yourself. Newer PCCs have a groove cut into the battery slot, allowing either manual or auto batteries to fit without hassle.
