I've been doing a lot of research and reading the forum quite a bit. As much as I see how wonderful refillable and liquid are, I would really really prefer a 2-piece where I can order pre-filled cartridges. I have been having hand surgeries lately, so the 2 piece would be MUCH easier for me at this point. My issue is finding pre-filled with menthol type flavors....I smoked marlboro menthol lights for YEARS and have just recently tried ecigs. I'm loving ecigs, but NOT loving the menthol flavors I have found. I don't like sweet in my smoke . Any suggestions would be most welcome! Thanks!!!!!

Mike from LeCig sells an 808 model, which I consider a heavy hitter. Lots of vapor. good flavor, lots of throat hit. For a little less go with a 510 with a 3 ohm atty. A bit more subdued. Or, lighter yet, something like a 306. It's a 3 piece but the flavor cartridge comes in a "filter tip" that slides on to the atty. Not great for throat hit, but flavor is REAL nice.

As far as menthol, everyone seems to say the same thing. I have not tried Vt Vapor's menthol, but if it is as true to taste as their others...but, that gets you into refilling...

I wish I could get into refilling, then I KNOW I could find the flavor I want, but right now, it will just be so much easier to twist on and go.

Hmmm...the real problem is economy. A cartomizer like what Mike sells will last about a pack of cigs as filled, but can really last up to 8-10 packs when refilled. These can be dripped on with an eye dropper. You do have to pull the rubber end cap out to do that.

That's why I would also recommend buying a cheap little drip tip for the cartomizer. It just sits inside of the end rim and generally the drip tips made out of Delrin plastic slide out of the cartomizer with little effort. They are held in by a rubber o-ring, so they won't just fall out, though. A drip tip costs $1-$2 on average.

That's what I use on the CE2s, but filling those is enough of a PITA with two GOOD hands!

Of course, you could always get something like a Juice Box: you put a 10mL bottle of juice in the PV, and then punch it once in a while. They're easy, but somewhere around $100. It's also a "homemade" atomizer, supposed to be very robust (I'd like to get MY hands on one, heh-heh...) and is supposed to last for a LONG time. If you have the $$$$, this is probably the easiest.

At the moment, they are ok......i just can't do real fine motor skill things. I"m afraid i'd always be dropping the cap. oh, and a juice box is not an option *grin*

Liz, I had some Salem(flavor only) that was good added to several of my favorite tobacco flavors. I got it from litecigusa.net may be worth a try.

Good luck on the search. I don't think it was that sweet,I remember that it seemed very fresh and did not taste like a cough drop and not a peppermint, season to taste.
And lsabeth,don't encourage Steampunk. He's working on a mod for me and if he slobbers all over it it will be your fault...and Roses...and RY4s... and Sugars... and Vickys.

I suggest you recruit your children/grandchildren, buy yourself a couple dozen blank cartomizers and bake them a batch of cookies.....they fill your cartomizers, you give them cookies.....(you could always bribe the neighbor's kids if you have none of your own)......

Need to get to the hardware store again. With a 14670, it works just fine. Started it on Saturday, and just ran out of juice last night. Battery juice, that is. Need to get a spacer so you can use 14500s in it. End of threadjack...
