| Hi All.
I've been vaping for a little over a month now and have been quite pleased with the results. After telling my aunt about my e-cig, she became really interested in them as a new potential business venture. I told her that I would gather all the info I could for her. I really hope this is the right place to ask these questions. If not I apologize.
My aunt is interested on selling mostly at the local and regional level. I know she would need a supplier most likely from china. How does that work? She'd need a website even if was for only information and an ad campaign. The most important thing, what would be a ball park number for an initial investment and how was that investment spent? I know its different for each person, but different perspectives would be ever so helpful. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. |

| I don't know if you will get any reponses from actual vendors. Who wants more competition!. Just from my perspective I thought of this but I think the internet is pretty well flooded now.
When researching ecigs I bookmarked over 30 USA vendors and there are many more.
Small packages. Flat shipping rates. Only takes 2 days from Nevada or New Jersey to here in Florida so no regional advantage in shipping.
There are probably options open to sell locally but the cost of the storefront for just ecigs would probably be hard to justify. Possibly flea market or something like that. |

| Now how cool is that? A vender that is willing to help another become a vender. Gosh LeCig, that makes me want to buy something from you. |

| It is tough to make a go at it ... especially if your trying for just an internet customer base. But it can be done, the question is to brand or not to brand lol |

| This isn't exactly like selling Chi-pods on ebay.
E-cig selling success takes a feel for your customer base,
sort of like not getting rich teaching school.
This does not apply to scamming shammers (looked like a word to me?), they can make money and not look back.
Ahhhh, I gonna make myself cry.

| No its not, and futher more you need to become an ecig aficionado in order to field the questions on compatibilities with all the models out there. This is a good place to start building a good knowledge base: Brand and Model Compatibility Chart - E-Cigarette Wiki
and of course here at the vapeatron board: E-Cigarette Models
One can make good money reselling other products, that at least will give you a good feel for what to expect being a "dealer" of ecigs |

| Nebraskapuffer, I placed my 1st 2 orders with Lecig. Great customer service and immediate response to a defective batt! Also check out the real time chat he uses on his website. Mike seems like a real good guy. |

| Thanks tarkus, I've looked and I just can't find anything bad about Mike. His D-1 carts are on back order it looks like but he's the kind of guy people want to buy from so I'll be keeping an eye on them. Can I ask where you come up with your username? Is it from an old ELP album by any chance? |

| Hey ,
I started an E-cig biz about two months ago. The fun part is building the site. Not that hard to find suppliers from china. Just don't Western Union any money and please don't wire from bank account , Very Expensive. PayPal to send money very easy and fairly cheep to do. This is my preferred method. Anyway, the hard part to me is promotion and ranking on the web. After two months I am doing the SEO stuff by my self on shoe string. Takes a while to be recognized and rank in Google, Yahoo etc..
However I am getting orders but not killing it as of yet. I think that there is a big demand for E-Cigs out there and yes the market is flooded with suppliers but who knows what is gong to happen in the future with regulation, could be big. I think that there is some room left especially if the E-Cigs are made legal or regulated somehow.
I have spoken to other suppliers that have invested tons of money into starting an E-Cig biz and that's just not me . I want to see what will happen with minimal investment before diving in all the way. Just my approach. I think that the important thing is to be honest and upfront with your customers and tell them what is going on throughout the process, give the best customer service that you can and provide a good product.
If you need any help give me a shout @ todd@vaperite.info

| W/U for payments is great, we've wired over 20k with them no problems. Just make sure your recipient is legit.
Now I PP too, it is cheaper than W/U for the small orders.

| Perhaps one of the companies/distributors will come out ahead. There's department stores and there's Wal Mart, there's sneakers and there's Nike, there's search engines and there's Google... sorry, over-reaching.
I think it would be awesome if a distributor had an easy-to-use bulk program, EVERYONE in East Texas asks me about vaping, one lady asked me if I could do a party (think Mary Kay or Tupperware)... someone like me wouldn't need China/drop ship bulk prices, just a decent discount and a suggested MSRP, maybe some cool merch to make it look pretty. |

| Hi Paula,
We were going to start that program, but instead we are wholesaling out to shops now ... but we do have a great wholesale program and quick shipping to E. Texas.
Contact dee@lecig.com for more info if your interested. |

| starting a online business would be a fun thing to do in my mind. but why stop there? like i commented to Mike I'm out here in California less than 30 mins. away from hollywood, beverly hills, and downtown los angeles. and as far as i know there are no retail shops or even online distributors from my area. not that im saying "lets get rich!" but there is business to be had out here. plus all the celeb smokers you could dream of to convert. can you imagine the publicity you could get out in hollywood with just one celeb's word of mouth?? i'm sure many people would love to break the chains that force them to order online, but it seems like this is the case most everywhere until e-cigs are mainstream.
