Indulgence and battery problem

My ex bought her son an Indulgence ecig from Stormy for Christmas. She came down today so I could look at it and give her some ejuice and show her how to fill up some cartos. After I filled couple up I tried it out. It didnt work. Ok. Batterys not charged up maybe. Put on my charger and after awhile. Knew wouldn't be fully charged yet but hoped a small charge will help. It didn't. I put my 14650 in it comes with 18650. Still nothing.
My question is: shouldn't battery come with enuff charge to at least fire it up and even though my battery not right type shouldn't it lite up

It should work, but is the on off nut at the bottom <i think> on or off, there is a lock out i think for the switch, check the carto center pin, maby slide it down a lil to make contact

The 14650 is the same length as an 18650, so as long as the battery is touching the contacts it should fire. I often use a 14650 in my 18650 No Ego when I have been a bit to...er, lackadaisical to charge the bigger ones...

Thats what I thought but have never done before and just say your stuff is crap. Now shes gonna havtaa replace quick before christmas
