What's up yall! I'm new to e cigarettes and this site and all so i would appreciate you guys just kind of bearing with me here.
Would switching to E cigarettes cost less in the long run than normal cigarettes? i'm not trying to quit, just trying to find a good alternative because my fiance is pregnant and can't deal with the smell, and i'm worried about my respiratory system as i am going into the military and worried about my performance. will it make a difference in my respiratory system? and i do enjoy Menthols and i want to find a model that not only looks cool (i'm 19, what do you expect?) as well as tastes great, any suggestions? thanks guys!

I am 25 but been using e cigs just over a yea, i was a 3 pack a day smoker, and now dont care about cigs, what happened was i got a cheap starter from 7-11 and that was just junk, and ended up getting a pig cig from mike at lecig.com, who has a sale in the hype section of this forum right now.. Any way, i spend a max of about 2 bucks a day now, blowing clouds of vapor and getting my nic.
Congrats on the fiance and yes it does help with the lungs, your going to breath better and run longer, and you will need it, plus they wont let you smoke in boot, so you will have to get used to it now bro..
As far as models go, it is more what is your price range, you can spend thousands on a sweet as hell model, well a few hundred at most any way, or spend less on a cool looking working device. I highly reccomend going to the supplier hype section on the right, right now, and grabing a pig cig some cartomisers, and ejuice right now, cause the sale will be over but you will be getting one of the best devices on the market for one hell of a price bro..

I wasn't trying to quit either, just save a little cash that was over six months ago After a week and half I dropped the analogs. Can't say I haven't smoked one or two since then, but you can count on one hand. Pigcig was my 1st "real" ecig. Look around in hype section and I'm sure you can find what you need to get started. If you have any questions be sure to ask. Somebody here has probably has seen that or heard that and is able to answer. Good Luck

This will be one the best decisions you'll ever make, and if you can stay with it you won't regret it.

Congrats on finding Ecigs and that my friend is a good life choice over analogs for sure even if you don't quit completely..

Yes it is cheaper and a more healthy life style. I smoked for over 50 years and now have been analog free for 120 some odd days now and I just love vaping.

Shoot...wish this stuff had come out when I was 19.

Your costs may vary, but where I live a pack costs $8. I have an $8 battery I have been using a year. $1.75 cartos I get 3-7 days out of, and 3 mL of juice that costs $1.80. Do the math!

Hypervaporation in effect

Cost - Really large variables here but CHEAPER
Health - Felt bad, now feel GOOD
Smell - Was stinky, now smell YUMMY

My personal experience is that I have saved a ton over smoking ciggys. My lung capacity quickly started to return after 30+ years smoking a couple packs per day. Still not what it should be, but we are getting there. And my fav is that my daughter now tells me all the time that I smell like pancakes. Which is better than an ashtray. No, I don't work at IHOP. Just jump in. Never regret it.

Welcome to the forum.

Van, just my 2 cents, but I started out with those little batteries that " look like" a ciggie. In two weeks time, the constant charging was making me crazy. I moved up to the pigcig. It was great, but when the boss came out, I was really thrilled! User replaceable batteries are the best. It's easy to carry a spare, and you just unscrew and pop in a fresh battery. I love it love it love it! When those big epower dual coil cartomizers hit the market a few months ago, I gave it a try. WOW! I can walk out the door with my BOSS from LeCig, a full honker carto and a spare battery ( just in case) and I'm good for the whole day! LeCig doesn't have those honkers yet, but he's working on it. Look for the BOSS ON his site at LeCig.com under starter kits. It comes with 2 atties and 5 cartridges, 2 batteries, charger and button protector. To me, those are only good for tasting a new juice. Somewhere around here there's picture of the BOSS with one of those big cartos on it. With coupon code GIVETHANKS and a $50 or better purchase, LeCig is doing 25% off until end of November.

Tek, yes, that's a honker. They're lasting me an average of 3 weeks before I need to break out a fresh one. I think I've found what I like best, finally. I'm going to try washing one out in hot water just to see what happens. But at 3 weeks per, that's less than 14¢ a day, so why not trash it, and just get out a fresh one.

Tek, Mike is supposed to be getting them. ( Hope he gets 18650 mods too), but for now, the best price that RY4 and I have found on them is at madvapes. Although vaperite.com was better with their thanksgiving coupon that has now ended. (I got in on that just in time)

so, i'm assuming a tank is something you attach to the atomizer, then attach the carto to the tank? i'm trying to learn the terms along with everything else so... have patience lol.

The tank thing, is a add on to a cartomiser, < usually > where it slips over the shaft of the cartomiser, and is just a fluid resivour that will allow for larger and longer periods between fillings,.
