| OK so , i was draged to the mall by my wife. When we were there she saw the e cig vendor and asked if they sell em at the mall why do i order em online...
hehe...
So i walked over to the nice gent, and asked how much the e cig kits were...
He goes <like a used car salesmen> well sir there 109+ tax, but today we have a coupon for ten dollars off, so for 100 you see... And right here you see these things <points to cartomizers> these are about a carton worth <5 cartos> and a carton costs like .... wait whats that in your hand.
i say
Ohh this old thingy... Its a 5 mil tank, and a flashlight mod e cig. This is about 22 times bigger than the 100 mah batts that come with the kit.. ohh and cost me 40 dollars total..
then
ohh and those batts that are in the kit are 12$, the 5 pack of carts is 10 dollars, and that charger is 8.. so for the 40 that getting you <kr808 re-branded kit to cigotine> and 60 for you to stand here..
sorry sir i dont even use these...
we both laugh and he shakes my hand.. Ohh it was so funny i still am giggling. |

| WOOOOO HOOOOO tek! I wish I would have been a fly on the wall. Can't wait until my first opportunity to do this. I've already gone back to where I purchased my first ever generic - can't find the damn thing anywhere on the Internet (it's just toooo generic and cheapo I guess). It was at a tobacco shop - wow, they don't know it but it's killing their analog business. I managed to use it until I landed here and watched enough youtube vids to get my 510's delivered. And.....I got the e-juice before I got my first 510 - the cartos at the store were awful, but good enough to convince me that I can vape 100% of the time.
I left them a bunch of business cards from vendors I use and told them they ripped me off ($45 for a kit of a small 2-piece like an 808 [1 battery/1 atty with a removable cap with filler). They sell prefilled cartos for 5/$12 - what they don't know is the filler is loose & can be removed.....so, I cleaned all and dripped them until my 510's started sailing in. I'm keeping the generics either to give away to someone that is still smoking analogs or for an emergency. I had to be nice, but don't like to see anyone get ripped off - they lost me as an analog customer with what they're selling. Maybe they're hoping that their customers aren't online and their generics aren't good enough to keep someone vaping - WRONG. I've pinned all kinds of business cards (of vendors I like) on convenience store bulletin boards within a 25 mile radius of home and work. A couple of the stores that have a good analog business has taken down the bc's.

Chicopee | Actually, that's not bad. 7-11 is selling...er, something (it says Smoke Anywhere...are they resurfacing?) for $9, 1 battery, one atomizer and one cartridge. Says it's good for 500 puffs.
They sell NJOY for $19.95; charger, one battery, I think, and three cartridges. Five cartridges are $20!!!!!

DH is doing only ok. Heart problem seems to be all resolved for the moment, but a really bad infection has creeped in, and he sure isn't a happy camper right now. We were back at the Dr on Wed, Thurs, and Fri, and they wouldn't let us out until blood test results came in showing a tad better each day. He's a little scared, and we're waiting on other test results tomorrow. Hopefully it's infection that can be cleared with antibiotics and not something more serious. Either way, he is on the mend (I hope) and plans on going to work tomorrow for as long as he can.
Remember, this is a man who hasn't been in a Dr's office in his life (just with me) except when he went in the Army and when he was discharged. |

| I tend to harass the nJoy and Smoke Assassin kiosks out here. I'll walk up and talk while they are trying their sales pitch on folks who are actually interested. That's been with my eGo (RIP) though, I can't wait to screw with those nobs with my VMU in hand! Oh man... I have to make a day out of that! That's going to be SO much fun!

| The only ones I've seen in my area are PureSmokes in gas stations, as far as I can tell they aren't compatible with anything, are three piece, and vape and taste like crap. The station here that sells them charges $50 for a pack with 2 atty's and 4 cartridges,1 batt and a charger. And $30 for a "refill" of 10 prefilled carts and 2 more atty's. I hear they have mall kiosks in KC, but I don't shop out there.

| I never even noticed the mall/quickie-mart versions before I was already online and shopping. What kills me is how many are successfully selling 8-10 dollar batteries for 16 to 24 bucks, and the same with atties, here online.... when I can click my mouse and go buy the same on sale for 6.95, and free or almost free shipping....

| I've encountered the mallsmokes. Usually while i walk through the mall with an unlit cig hanging from my mouth.
Actually got to 'sample' them at one point. looked at the guy selling it and said 'this tastes like shit, dude' he assured me there were others, but i said "yeah, and they sell this on the net too. With a hell of alot more options, dont they?" enough people had heard it they walked off.
(this was...a year ago maybe? been a long time since i've been to the mall)

| Besides the mall kiosks and the free trail rip offs...the new thing is radio commercials now leading to the exact same thing again.
Sigh.....
There is one thing about the mall kiosks I do like is the vaping exposure that doesn't bother other people around so those who dont vape still get exposed to that part of it.

At one point of the commercial, the guy is smoking in a restaurant, the server tells him to stop, and he gets this shit eating grin and stops the LED end in his palm (to show theres no fire)
he needs to be punched. In the face. With an iron.
and they are BARELY getting by with calling it a 'stop smoking aid' which is just what the fucking FDA is fighting over.

Sigh..... | Yeah... FREE TRIALS!!! STAY AWAY FROM "FREE TRIALS"!!!!
I got suckered in on XM. Hey, even at their bloated prices, it was STILL cheaper than smoking. I (obviously) can see how it would be appealing.
Now, if they didn't give you a cheap-@$$ POS and charge $70 for $20 worth of carts, it'd be OK. Quote: |

Except work... but I just exhale under my desk and it dissipates pretty quickly.
