| How to not get ripped off when shopping for e-cigs:
SHOP
I went on a fake shopping spree just to see if I could spend over $100 on a really nice starter kit, but with a twist; only one part from each of several vendors (all in the U.S.). That's about the only way I could even come close to $100, except at the mall 
Shipping charges varied and some even have discount codes that I did not apply. Didn't really order any of this but I found out I could spend more than one hundred dollars if I tried. Here's the results:
5 PACK GREENCIG Cartomizers $15
5 PACK 808D-1 Cartomizers $10
808D-1 Regular Battery $15
808D-1 MEGA Battery $18
Charger for 808D-1 $7
Carrying case (nice case ) $10
E-Juice 30ml 24mg/ml (Chinese juice from U.S. supplier  )$12
Shipping (one item from each vendor) $38
Total $125
If anyone try's to sell you less stuff than the above list for any thing close to $125, take your money and run.

| good report rocketman.. Its a crying shame.. But tru,, You really have to watch out for the fees... and don't fall for free shipping.. that will get you to pay more for your goodies.. I only buy from a few ... But i put in hours of research.. And its worth it.. | |

| Rocket, just look at the prices on the Smoke 51 site(in supplier hype right now) and even at "50% off" they are worse than your shopping spree. Their reg. price for 1 battery is $30-50. Regular rate for an a/c charger, usb chgr and a cord is $55. Sure glad I found vapeatron, so glad.

The free trial scams, the overpriced mall sellers, and 7 layer pyramid burrito schemes all usually have a humanoid to talk to and misguide the newbie. Lots of positive comments from a lot of forum members (real forum, not vendor edited compliments) is one way.
Shopping to compare fair prices is also a must.

I paid the $70 for the first month, got the "free" e-cig (that I fried in 4 days...), found Vapeatron, cancelled the service and got a 510 starter kit for $44.

| u know rocket i got a really great deal from mike aka "freeroller" Analog Alternative, The Smoking Alternative here on the forum. i got 10 carts, 2 auto batt's, wall/usb carger, usb passthru and black pcc case all for 59.99 with free 1st class shipping and it got here in 3 days from Michigan. so after your post i feel real fortunate. only thing i had to do was buy a bottle of liquid from my local smoke shop | |

Only posted to show newbies that shopping around might help.
There's a range of prices that I would consider acceptable, but stressing over saving the absolute last nickle isn't going to help anyone get off cigarettes
Shop enough to know you aren't getting ripped.
