Hey guys...I tried searching and didn't really find what I need to know. I'm wondering if I take 100% VG and soak some sweet pipe tobacco in it overnight and maybe heat it up a little...is that all it takes to make my own tobacco flavor? If this don't work or if yall know alot better way of doing this I would love to hear about it!

Don't really care about how much nic the juice will end up with. I just want to make my own sweet tobacco juice!

Thanks

I would bounce this off Adam at Vt Vapor, since they make their tobacco flavor FROM tobacco!

Why not just use the already commercial available flavorings...I doubt what you are proposing would work very well. They have pipe tobaccos and the flavoring they add to those out there.

Lost my job a year ago due to a head-on car crash that almost killed me...money is limited...making my own juice would be very inexpensive.

Chain, I made some DIY juice in desparation waitingfor juices when I first started.
1)4oz babyfood jar w/filtered heated water 3/4 full
2)add tobacco to fill jar,cap and let steep overnight.
3)pour off liquid into glass container, squeeze tobacco to get the most of the liquid.
4)pour collected juice through coffee filter into babyfood jar, leave open
5)reduce volume of juice to about 1/2 to 3/4 oz. in microwave or double boiler
6)add around 2oz. VG to processed juice and you should have vapable liquid . YMMV
This homemade juice will cause psychosis: I've been nuts ever since I started vaping.
At least that's the excuse I'm using. Good luck.

vegetable glycerin-
http://www.essentialdepot.com/servle...HER-USP/Detail
you really want usp grade (and kosher if available)

if your not interested in large quantity youd be safe here http://wizardlabs.us/index.php?route...ory&path=83_70

using the stuff from places like wally world may not be the best purity levels...

The price was great but the shipping was a deal killer. It was almost as much for shipping as the cost of the product!

thats kinda typical of gallon shipments..heres another bulk source also:
http://www.bulkapothecary.com/raw-in...cals/glycerin/
this was the last place i bought it at (on sale as I recall)
the important thing is USP food grade minimum...
I also suggest drawing off smaller containers so you can avoid opening the larger one as much as possible ...VG is very hygroscopic so leave it opened only for the minimum time possible..the less humidity you allow to reach it the better IMO for long term storage
