| Ive been a smoker for 13 years or so and Ive quit a couple of times. After a few days I would notice my lungs clearing and I would cough up some tar every now and then. Im on day 4 of not smoking analogs and I have not noticed any clearing going on yet. I was thinking all the moisture from vaping would speed up the process but I guess not.
What are your experiences so far? When did you start clearing out? |

| I've never experienced the lung clearing that you speak of, but have heard of it many times. It's one of those things you're supposed to look forward to when you quit smoking.
I have noticed differences in my health since I started vaping though. I do breathe easier, don't get winded as often, and can pick up on those annoying smells that seem to creep in from nowhere. It took a couple weeks before I started noticing things though.

| Good to hear that in a couple of weeks ill feel even better. Hell, even in these 5 days Ive felt tons better. No raspy deep breaths and I even worked out a bit harder then usual because I could actually breath! |

| I would agree with a couple weeks for the lungs. For me, one of the greatest things is that after 20 years, I can laugh really hard without coughing! |

| Also 2 - 3 weeks for me a very noticeable difference. I quit waking up in the middle of the night with a cough and began to breath much clearer and easier. Much improvement! |

| I'm with godling on this one..no lung clearing at all..which surprised me.
I found my gums bled easily when brushing for two weeks or so and also a constant dry throat, which I still have.
No wheeze/whistle in my throat any more at night in bed after TV went off and all was quiet.
Big one for me was not having that terrible feeling of waking up, feeling like my air tube was severly restricted, knowing that if I coughed one time it would lead to a bout of coughing/wheezing. Horrible feeling....I'm pretty sure that was probably the early stage of COPD. |

| Deep Breathing:
Diaphragmatic breathing.
Now that the influx of toxins has stopped, use this exercise to help regain lung capacity and clean out years of residue. WILL HELP.
Check with your health care professional, I'm pretty sure they will recommend it.

| My lungs felt clearer almost immediately. By day 2, I woke up without the usual morning cough, and by day 3, my pulse-rate had dropped by about 10 BPM. Been vaping 5 months now, and enjoying increased stamina and endurance. Still, however, unable to shed that extra 30 lbs.! |

| Welcome aboard VapaVamp. I'm glad to hear someone has noticed immediate improvement. Long before I heard of e-Cigs, I had daydreamed of ways to Steam-Clean all the cr@p out of my lungs. When I found eCigs, I had hoped they would do just that. It's just too bad lungs don't clean up as quickly as my carpet does.

| Has anyone noticed their voice changing? It seems I have to clear my throat every time I speak and I'm kinda horse or something but that isn't quite the word. My throat doesn't hurt at all but it's kinda annoying. My significant other says I used to sound like Sam Elliot but now I sound like Shirly Temple right after she's had her toncels taken out. |
