| So, I'm getting a little "thin" on top, so I decided to try Rogaine....it has worked before but it gives me this horrible rash on the top of my head. I figured, maybe something in my body chemistry has changed enough to try it again...
Nope...
But, can anyone guess what the main inactive ingredient in it is?!?! Reaction to VG freaked me out!
I called them and told them, and they're sending me a coupon for a month's worth of the foam, which does NOT contain PG!

| Follow up...
Either the Minoxidil or the Propylene Glycol I was bathing my skin with caused lesions on the top of my head. This created open sores and I now have a skin infection called Impetigo! It causes FURTHER lesions on the skin, and can spread, and is contagious!! The good news is it is treatable with antibiotics, and usually starts to subside within 3 days from the start of treatment, and even untreated can go away by itself in about 3 weeks.
Wow. All this because of a bald spot on my head. So much for vanity!!!!!!
But, I'm REALLY curious if it was the Minoxidil or the Propylene Glycol that did it. Based on my early experiences with vaping Propylene Glycol. I'm willing to bet that's what started the ball rolling...
Those who were here back in my early days may remember I had made a post about breaking out all over my face (I would much rather be kissed all over my face...) and it went away after I switched to VG based juice.

Wonder if there have been any studies on the cilia in the lungs and how PG affects them?

I haven't heard of impetigo in years. I thought it was usually contracted from swimming in dirty streams???? I hope you get better and grow hair soon. | |
