| I recently passed my 100 days of Vaping. Off the top of my head I figure that I have spent about $500.00 perhaps $600.00 on my own personal Vaping equipment since I started. I know that I used to spend about $350.00 per month on American Spirit Cigarettes when I smoked. They cost about $5.60 per pack,So 2 packs a day, well do the math. Anyway, I was talking with my wife about how much I am saving per month Vaping. She brought up a hidden value that I overlooked witch was all the extras. I bought my analog Cigs two packs a day from the corner store and every time I would buy Cigs I would also buy beer , or a coke , a snack or something usually. Since I don't go to that store any longer I don't buy all the extra stuff. If you add all that up over a months time , that's about another 100.00 per month I'm saving! These days every bit helps. I am also looking forward to the money saved by not having to go to the doctor to get prescriptions for smoking related stuff. |

| Well lets see if I can do some math lol, I quit analogs in oct around the 20 th-- so that has been 3 months "Congrats to me" My kit was 49.95 for the RN4081 I have bought 2 xtra batt and 2 xtra atty and 2 bottles off juice which comes to appr. 130 total and I still have plenty of juice right now and i have plenty of filters also. I was smoking 2 packs a day at 5 a pack so that would be 450. The Company I am buying from doesnt charge anything for shipping so that also helps. So, I have saved around 320 (I thk) I tried all the smoking meds from the doctor didnt work for me.

| Congrats man! The same thing happened to me, I realized I was having more money in my bank after the first 2 months of vaping and I put 2 & 2 together, I was also buying all the extras when going to buy smokes. Its crazy how much adds up over time...lol...

I also have to tell ya what an old friend just recently told me about her experience with Chantix! Holy Smokes! Happily married, beautiful, professional woman...imagine...goes to bed around 9:30pm - wakes up 5:30am to get to work as ICU specialist. All is well, doesn't crave cigs.
Later that evening gets a phone call from a man she barely knows via someone else who happens to be a married attorney who proceeds to basically ream her out for calling him at 11:00pm that night and telling him he was sexy, etc. etc. etc. !!! She was like, WHAT???!!!!! NO WAY!!!! You get the picture! She had ABSOLUTELY NO memory of calling him, talking to him... NOTHING! She swears she never even thought that about the guy!!! Sorta funny...but super freakin scary at the same time! So there's a good reason NOT to try Chantix!!!

| My niece and her husband did Chantix and loved it. They have been smoke free for over a year now. Said it cost them more than cigs did though. So several months ago I thought I'd give it a try. I had nightmares, uncontrolable boughts of rage, anxiety attacks and heart palputations. It was horrible to say the least, I think I lasted 4 days on it. I guess it all depends on the person. Thank goodness I found e-cigs! |

I always worry about those big pharma commercials where they say something like "Some people using this medicine have engaged in activity such as driving, eating, or making phone calls and later having no memory of the activity." or side effects include "Compulsive Gambling, Eating & Shopping & Uncontrollable Sleepiness"

| Okay, my hidden savings at vaping hmmmm...
I've spent less than $100 in 3 months!
( Stocked up on high mg nic-liquids back in June thru August thanks to Renderwerks and Rocket; sold or gave away as gifts most of my unused PV's in my collection; cut down to 16-18mg overall vape; been having phenomenal luck with atomizers & batteries; haven't touched an analog or suffered another stroke since I quit in April '09.)
Now, that my friends are some my hidden savings of vaping!

Now, that my friends are some my hidden saving of vaping! | Man you've had a stroke? It is awesome to see you typing away in a forum! Obviously you got help in time which is awesome. Did you know Charlie Daniels had a stroke last week? He got help in time too thank God. I've been unemployed since September and finally got a job starting Monday. During times of unemployment or any other times of stress most people tend to smoke more so if it weren't for e-cigs...........all I can say is I'm verrrrry thankful for the Chinaman that invented these things. My Marlboro reds would easily be over $400 monthly for me now. E-cigs are way less than $100. It looks like e-cigs have saved you money and possibly your life which is priceless!!! |

| I bet the move to Florida helped
If you can avoid the hurricanes, life pace can be slower if you let it.
You have to be able to get away from the hustle and bustle every once in a while or the stress will get you.
and BTW, glad if I accidentally helped.

I'll make a big second on any motion to thank the PV inventor!
( ...my lungs will third it!)
Yes, both Charlie Daniels and I were extremely lucky. I just type a lot slower now, but hopefully he will still be able to play a "mean fiddle" like he does in those GEICO commercials. (ye-haw!)
Yes Rocket you helped in a big way. Before I typed in this forum I lurked. (In fact I'm always lurking; even now!) I read, listened, learned and asked questions.
I can't emphasize enough to the beginner how much knowledge and information is in these and other forum threads.
Have a question??? The answer might only be there for the asking! We help each other... and that is the way its suppose to be.
