| Hello,
I am new to this vapin stuff but have been doing a bunch of research. Yet as most noobs doo I still have a few Qs, so here they are.
backround first..
currently using a Mistic that I picked up at a local smoke shop. I started roughly two weeks ago.
Q#1 Has anybody tried refilling mistic cartos? I have popped the cap on a couple of these and they look pretty standard to me.
Q#2 I have been looking seriously at the Volt by Smokelessimage does it live up to the hype?
Q#3 Looking for a good and cheap e-liquid supplyer. Smokelessimage, Smoke Revolution USA look good to me. Does Gulf Coast sell premixes or are they DIY suplies only? Any and all replies on this Q greatly appreciated.
Q#4 Will Volt cartos fit mistic batteries and viseaversa?
Q#5 I am still using analogs mostly because i do the "make your own" thing, tube injector not hand rolled. I have about 1/2 a twenty dollar bag of tobacco left and refues to through it out yes you could refer to me as cheap LOL.
The Q here is will my throat ever get used to vaping?
I have a few theories on why I cough so much while trying this. #1 This is the time of the year when even the first analog of the day throwes me into a lil hackin fit, i dont have allergies that know of but seing as how it happens this time every year I call it "my bodies annual cleaning of the lungs" LOL. Theory #2 The juice in the mistic cartos seams a lil harsh, even in the middle of the day a freshly opened carto givs me a lil trouble for the first few puffs. And theory #3 Just gettin used to somethin new I guess.

| Hi, Vapin Noob. I won't be able answer any of your questions. I've never tried the Mistic. I can't inhale e-juice the same way I inhale an analog. I get coughing fits, also. It sometimes even gives me sneezing fits. I have been vaping off and on for over a year. |

| Hello vapin noob!! I know nothing about the mystic but there are a few that have used it in the past. I also know nothing about the volt.
My suggestion to you if you are looking for a replacement for the mystic is to get something 510 threaded. Myst right now has a great sale. So great I have been tempted to pick up this kit also. For any newcomer an ego is AWESOME as a matter of fact I am using an ego at the moment. I do suggest getting some cartos to go with the kit if you decided to go that route. Dripping is good but cartos are nice for on the go.

I have bought from Smokeless Image in the beginning. They are a sister company to VaporNine. I don't know about that particular model but I went from smaller batteries to lager ones as charging 3-4 batteries at any given time became a PITA. 510 models are pretty good as you can find supplies for them readily. I'm currently using the E-Power model with Dual Coil cartos and love it. You can change out the batteries with this model and they are much cheaper to replace than buying a whole new pv but the model is not without it's issues. Before that, I used eGo/Riva style PVs and love them. They have long battery life, preform without issue, and very durable. As far as cheap e-juice suppliers, Vapor Renu is among the cheapest. Hit Liquid also has some good prices and her RY4, Red Bull, and Dreams is very good. As far as coughing, that went away for me in time although I sometimes may cough if or there, depending on the strength of the juice and/or the power of PV. | |

I know I was sure glad to find this place when I was first starting out a few months ago. | Okay, coming from someone that has used a Mistic, and quickly moved on to something more powerful with a larger battery, I don't think that the volt package is that great a find. For that much you can get yourself a really great mod, or a very dependable ego-style setup. I moved on to 1100mah eGos because a battery will last me almost all day, and i don't have to worry about being without 3-4 little cig style batteries that only lasted me around a few hours max. | gulf coast currently only sells DIY supplies, but Robert is looking into providing pre-mixes very soon. I would personally suggest Robert if you are interested in DIY. His product and Customer service cannot be beat and if you are a cheapskate like me, DIY is really the way to go, plus he has a crazy coupon code right now as well. If you want pre-made, I would suggest vaporrenu (nujuice for 15% off for new customers and renu for 10% off already crazy low prices for great product) or The vapor room which has a really great new customer deal listed on thier website. | Very helpfull so far, thankyou verry much, and more is always appreciated.
I should have specified that I am not really looking in to mods or 510 stuff right now kinda like the feal of my Mistic. Got into looking at the volt due to youtube vids (grimm green and steel jan)
Right now a mistic battery is lasting me about a day and a half or so, but that is vaping on and off trying to use up my analogs.
DIY juices? nah that is a lil to tekkie for me right now lol
Oh and seing as how I got paid sooner than I thought I just ordered Clasic Cola and Menthol from iVape (recomended by Dr. Vapor, yes more youtube)
Oh found this place right off the bat when I did a google search for Mistic e-cig review.
Now on cartos, how can I tell when it is time to refill and or clean?

not mistic, but njoy brand when i started, the condom method or the syringe method i loved when i started, quick and kinda mess free.. I have not seen this mod, but i would recomend to start off with a cheaper mod, from a modder, there are alot of us out here that can help out with a better quality and more of a econimic mod for people, esp when commercial mods tend to cost so much.. | Quote:

One distrubitor i used was vaporrenu.com, another is lecig.com, and another is vaporvixen.com.. I also like some of goodprophets.com vg e juice, and vermontvapor.com.. lol, i now do a lot of diy so i am nolonger buying so much e juice. | Quote:

when i started vaping, and kinda slowed way down on cigs, i started to knotice my allergies, to increase, cause the tar and junk were no longer suppressing it, and it got bad, i found some over the counter allergie meds that helped with that big time.. | Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance, Eric | When your flavor and vapor starts dropping you can tell its time to top off. When the fluffy white batting isn't fluffy anymore, you need to clean. You can get 510 kits that look and feel like your Mistic, and you can buy more cartomizers for them. So far I haven't found anything else that would fit a Mistic. 510 threading is the most readily available and fairly inexpensive. I was the same as you when I started. I just wanted something that looked and felt like a ciggie. When you finally decide to switch to 100% vaping, those small ciggie-like batteries aren't gonna last that long for you. But for now, as you are using them in tandem with analogs, they are sufficient. But I still say that you can get so much more with a 510 for what you would get in the volt set-up for the amount of money that it is. There are many many places that are having 510 sales right now; myst Masters has a great coupon plus already discounted starter 510, Totally Wicked has a BOGO, etc, etc... I am not saying that the volt isnt a good set-up, because I am not familiar with it more than just googling it to see what it cost and what came with the kit. I wish that I had someone tell me about the eGo before I spent like $150 on Mistic stuff, that's all.
