Just joined this forum today! It seems to be more down to earth. I will give you more details about myself when I am home on Tuesday. This seems like a great place! I have been vaping and ordering tons of vape supplies for about 2 weeks. I keep smoking analogs also. I hope that once I find the ideal juice I will be okay. I can't find a strong flavor! I don't feel that I require alot of nicotine, just alot of flavor. Suggestions are welcome.

welcome. well it'll be tough to find the juice your looking for, and buying bottle after bottle from different dealers will get old real fast. i suggest buying a big bottle of non flavored nicotine juice from someone and mix in your own flavorings. visit https://www.lorannoils.com/ for something you like and mix up small batches and expeirment. good luck.

hi, thanks!
I think it's gonna be menthol, even though I never liked it before.

Rose,
Welcome to "the little forum that could".
There are several here that will offer advice, and believe me, it will be helpful.

Be careful chasing after the best juice, the best e-cig, the best this, the best that.
Depending on how picky you are, you may never get past "adequate"
Hopefully you can make it to "very adequate" and not just "sort of adequate"
(did that make any sense?).

Juice mixing is something to think about, and can save you money, unless you mix up something that is just awful. BTDT.
Usually the mistakes can be combined (I use a "pot luck" bottle in the fridge) and vaped at a later date.

If you have a juice you "sort of like" I suggest adding an additional flavor to it.
If you have a tobacco flavor juice, try a simple fruit flavor, a little at a time.
I would stay away (for now at least) some really good sounding food flavors that might not be all that good as vapor

3 to 10ml of a juice you sort of like and a few drops of Loranns flavor would be low risk.
I find two of three or four or five flavors in one juice to make it interesting to try and pick each flavor out. Like a distraction, sort of, maybe.

and cross your fingers for the Saints

Hello again,
I got off work early and was able to post. I couldn't find a list of rules for this forum so please, correct me if I do something wrong. I'm not wanting to diss any company and I don't know if I'm allowed to mention their names. I'm really happy with my Joye eGo and my KR-808 (other than some battery and charger issues which are being taken care of)
Just to let you all know a little about myself...... I am 40 something and have been smoking for over thirty years. My sister (55 years old) has lung cancer. That was when I decided to do something. Both my parents (smokers) died of cancer, but not of the lung. Thought maybe me and sis were going to dodge the bullet. Well..... I tried Chantix, patch, gum, and cold turkey. Nothing helped. That is why I have decided to do a smoking alternative. My juice issue is going to be solved soon I know. They just aren't strong enough. I don't think I need more nicotine, just more flavor!
Another issue I'm having.......How are you full time vapors able to drink alcohol and not want an analog? I do fine vaping (ONLY) during the day, but when I get home and pop open a Bud Light, It is ON with the cigs. I ain't giving up every dang thing! Life is too short as I'm noticing more and more. Like the old song says, "Everything I love is killing me." I won't vent like this anymore. I just wanted yall to know where I stood.

Thanks for the input. I come from a family of musically inclined techies, but I inherited neither. I'm computer forum illiterate. I already see that this thread should have probably gone in the "Official introduce yourself" one. Hey Mod! Move me if necessary, please.

Ok, lets make it this thread, lol.

The model e-cigs you mentioned are just fine. No one will through you out for vaping either one. You said you don't think it's higher nic you need. What strength are you using now?
What flavors do you seem to like? (don't need brands, sellers, etc).
Don't be too concerned about smoking a few cigarettes for now.
Stressing over going cold turkey to e-cigs isn't going to help.

Get used to this first, stick with it, the tobacco use will decrease, and maybe go to zero.
Stay it touch on this forum, support helps.

Refresh the page from time to time and watch the "Latest Posts" column on the right side of the screen. Are you using dial up?

Best,

Rocket

OK THEN, THE OTHER THREAD

Thanks, yall or so funny! I've already found an adequate and don't worry about me trying snickerdoodle or ginger snap flavor. I don't eat that stuff much less smoke it. What is Loranns flavor? In addition I have ordered some Wyatt Earp from someone but don't have it yet. I figure with the sound of the name and the nic level I ordered, the top of my skull will come off after the first drag and I won't have to worry about cancer or any thing else! Headline will read, " Woman found dead clutching an e-cig". That won't be very good publicity. (smiley face goes here, mine are always sideways)

Wyatt Earp, I think I have some of that
Tobacco flavors are really hard to DIY so I usually use those as a base and add something else. That seems to make the flavor complex enough to be interesting.
Lorannoils.com, or the cake decorating section in HobbyLobby has some flavors that would be a good starting point for experimenting. They also has some Vegetable Glycerin (not the kind for butt rubbing) that I like to cut nic strength.

LOL
Even though I have been inhaling carbon monoxide, rat poisoning, and pesticides for years, I'm suddenly concerned. Go figure? but is it okay to inhale "bakery type" cake flavoring?
Random question..........Is there any way to combine my threads? I'm stupid at this

No real need to combine. You can edit and cut and past everything into one if you like.

I jumped in with that comment just in case we were headed toward many many threads, LOL.

Bakery flavors are "probably better" than anything in tobacco smoke. I've been doing it for about two years. Hasn't killed me yet
Some are PG based and water soluble. Some flavors might be OIL BASED. Not good for the equipment.

A few drops per ml of juice really isn't a lot of stuff, and most of the flavor liquid is probably not flavor, just PG or VG.

Just don't jump off in the deep end with super high strength NIC juice. At least not yet.
Start with juice at the strength you like to vape (or a little higher) and modify that for a while.
and look over at the right hand side of the screen, near the top

The text editor used in this forum takes care of the smiley for you

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I ordered a 24mg of Wyatt at a 70/30 strength with strong menthol flavor. Even though I smoke "light cigarettes", the medium (18mg) that I have, just don't get it. I think a tobacco, strong menthol, vanilla would be good for me. Never thought that before, but now (unless I'm in my beer) I smoke an analog and then vape to get the taste out of my mouth! The flavor I have now is like the one that I described just weak. i think it's called menthol ice.
As for cutting and pasting, I don't know how to do that on here.
Plus when you told me to look at the top right, I didn't get that.
For a college grad., I'm a little slow

Welcome!
wait for it.....WAIT FOR IT.....
but like my friend rocky has said tobacco flavors are usually strong and are a good base liquid. try adding a lil vanilla or caramel to it to lighten it up and make it a lil sweet. fruit flavors are good to. menthol tastes are hard to get rid of. even a few tainted drops of menthol into a batch of somthing else will make it minty. so always wash your syringes, bottles, and rinse out your cartos if you plan to reuse them. i had the same problem wanting a smoke when i drink to, but i think a potent tobacco flavor or a really strong menthol will cure it when you drink. i bought a really stong menthol to cure my cigs with beer cravings.

Hi
I'm using 18mg, but have ordered 24mg. I like the sweet tobacco, mint, and french vanilla.

Rose, welcome to the forum. Taste and nicotine requirements are pretty much an individual thing.
Your 18mg level isn' strane we have friends here that use 36 mg juice.
The "not enough taste" problem might be solved by adding a couple of drops of Loranns candy flavors (very strong much stronger than extracts found in the seasoning area of the grocery) to your e-juice. Recipes usually call for 5 to 25% flavor bu volume. Loranns is usually available at hobby shops.
tastyvapor.us has "doublers" and they might help . Basically just juice without nic that you can add to keep from washing out the flavor of your ejuice if you dilute the nicotine level.
I think everyone here wants new vapers to succeed and get off analogs, so hang in there, this vaping thing takes getting used to. Good luck and welcome, bikes

Thanks Bikes!
I think all will eventually work. I plan to make my last purchase for the month at Lorannes. I believe if I add Vanilla or mint to any of the tobacco flavors I have, I'm gonna do fine. This is becoming a much needed hobby for me. I have some vanilla (light and dark) that I bought in Mexico. Do you think that will work for now? Is it okay to vape regular vanilla? Thanks for the advice!

Rose you might consider a big battery mod(I don't use high voltage and can't recommend it) and possibly a low resistance atomiser to enhance flavor . The bigger battery maintains the higher voltage level longer and gives better atomization of the juice. The LR atty or cartomiser multiplies that effect and in combo might help your quest for flavor. bikes
