| hello all,
new to the site and of course vaping; i actually took the time to read, read and read as much as i can to make my decision on better equipment. so by reading the many threads about the starter kits; i decided to stay away from them just by reading up. i just recently just quit the stinky's (analogs of course) just little over 3 weeks ago. as my first purchase i got a pigcig battery and the mega carts 808 thread. ordered some juice 4 6ml sample bottles @24mg and a 15 ml of keoke cofee @24mg... and only comment i can make is that i never looked back on the analogs since. thank to all you guys (and gals of course) for posting informative info of all the major equipment that vaping has.
and one more thing; the first thread that i read was the pig cig thread (50pgs + ) and wow did i have a laugh. on topic off topic then on topic then off topic; was very enjoyabe.
now on to my main question and i hope is not a noob one.
i have been looking at the no ego 18650 mod at jazzcartopipe site. i pretty much know what size threads and attys and cartos talk but my question is the battery.
i see that it takes a 18650 3.7v li-ion protected battery 3000mah. can i put a 18650 3.7v liion protected battery at 4000mah? will that damage the device? i want my second device to be right but not to blow anything up in the process.
once again guys many thanks
mike

| The 4000mah Ultrafire is probably as much trash as the 3600mah Ultrafire.
Wow, Rocket badmouthing something, that's odd.
Steam has had good luck with the Tenergy 18650. I like the Ultrafire 2400mah but the tenergy is probably a better battery.
Oh, and Welcome to the forum.

The maH hour rating is how long the battery can deliver X voltage (nominally 3.7V) at Y amps in a test. 4000maH means it can deliver 4 amps for an hour, or any combination thereof. We're asking about 2 amps out of it, so if it were running constantly, it would last 2 hours. Since (most of us) don't hit the thing constantly at full voltage for long, long periods of time, we get many hours out of it. I have gone as long as 4 days, using it intermittently.
And I am having good times with the Tenergy batteries. They are rated 2200maH, and Tenergy has a tendency to not brag. Chances are your 4000maH is really 2400.
Remember back in the the good old days when these cheesy little stereos at King's would have a GREAT BIG STICKER saying 300Watts!!! and then in fine, fine print say instantaneous peak power for 10mS at 1 ohm. Sure, the thing was capable of that, but it took an act of Congress to get manufacturers to use wattage ratings listed in RMS terms, or continuous wattage through a defined load of 4 or 8 ohms, standard speaker resistance.
Some of these battery makers are playing the same game...

If you don't have batteries and charger for the other, I may know of a deal you can get on them. I'll send ya a PM on it. |

| Welcome to Vapeatron. Glad to see another vaper joining the flock.
Remember when you decide on the noego it's like Christmas toys"batteries not included." Get the batteries, charger, juice and carts or cartos. 808D-1 cartos don't work on a noego. 901carts are fine with a 510 atomiser but the atties have different threads. The 901 atties will work with your pigcigif you add a cartridge with juice. Enjoy vaping.
