| hey everyone, i've been looking around here for a while, before i found this i made the mistake of buying a blu for my girlfriend returned it and looking for a good replacement, joined to get some helpful info to figure out what kinda juice to get for my girlfriend she likes camel crushes, anybody come across anything that tastes similar? thank-you in advance for any help! |

| Can't say as I was never a Camel smoker, but I've read several times that Desert Ship is a favorite recommendation for and by former Camel smokers.

welcome to the forum.
I hope your quest to find a match in taste to Camel Crushes (is that the one with the 3 legged camel winking at you?) ends up making your girl friend happy. I have heard many vapers complain about not being able to find a juice that tastes just like the cigarette they used to smoke. But, I guess if they don't have anything better to do, it keeps them busy. If your girl friend is one that will drive from quick stop to quick stop because they are out of crushes, then you may be in a bind. You may get lucky, but matching the smoking experience with flavored Nic juice usually comes up short. Getting used to a flavor is an acquired taste. Happened with cigarettes, will happen with e-juice. Try your best, but try to get her to be open to trying something new. Compliment her on how she doesn't smell like an old wet ashtray now.

But seriously, Rocky is right. There is no way that an ejuice is going to match any real cigarette taste (or the thousands of chemicals that make it that way).
Luckily, most ex-smokers who turn to vaping end up not using tobacco flavored ejuice anyway.
Once they discover the world of flavors that just aren't available in cigarettes, it opens new doors and changes the game entirely.
My advice is to find out what some of her favorite treats are and get her a sampling of ejuices to match, along with the tobacco juices.
She may find that she prefers a caramel mocha, key lime freeze, or chocolate strawberry to any tobacco juice you can get.
Btw, my wife is a Jersey girl. We'll be heading up to NJ to visit her family and hit the Pokonos this Fall for vacation.
While we're up there I'm going to collect some sassafras root to extract for an ejuice recipe I've been itching to try. | |

| My point exactly..
I loved smoking for over 30 years ( started when I was 8 of course) but no way would I even think about lighting up an analogue for real after finding vaping....that's what I plan on doing for the next 30...or until the FDA pry's it from my cold dead hand...

| Welcome Pyrocore, I'm in the same boat, but I smoked camel ultralight regulars and still haven't quit entirely, I'm getting much better though. I've tried five ml samplers, all tobacco flavor, from four different sites now, and I must agree with everyone else, 99% of them are waaaaaaaaaay off. I will say that my favorite to start with was freedomsmokeusa.com's maxx blend. It's supposed to be like a marlboro flavor, however I find it to be more like a sweet pipe tobacco, slightly spicy. My first order was in a 5ml sampler, and had a bit of a cherry taste to it, my second a 30 ml bottle and the cherry taste was gone, leaving more of a maple syrup sweetness to it. I was disappointed by the lack of cherry at first, but while looking thru wifey's MANY small samplers the other day, I threw a drop of that in with a drop of cookie dough from the same site in an atomizer to try. I filled three cartos immediately and it's now my constant vape. The cookie dough tastes more like slightly overdone chocolate chip cookies, not dough at all, but that smooths all the tastes together wonderfully, still a decent tobacco flavor, and the over done chocolate actually vaguely resembles the burnt paper tube taste to me, just with the pipe flavor and spiciness cut down a bit. I'm quite happy with it, and mixed a few small bottles already, and I'm thinking maybe just a touch of coffee anything to perfect it.
I know it's not menthol, but if you try it and like it, I'm sure lots of folks will have suggestions for adding menthol flavor to it. Hope it helps!

| The camel crush is that the cigarette that it starts out as regular and then you can crush it or push this button and it goes to a menthol??
It takes getting use to not having that cigarette taste but once you find a juice and a pv you like, you will look at cigarettes like they are nasty and you will actually lean to your pv. | |

| It's a slow conversion for me, started at 4-6 a day, went back up to 10 a day, as wife won't quit and they're always here, but as I find juices I like more and more natural selection is eliminating them.

| Rob you know what my husband suggested when we went canoeing. Get a pack a cigarettes, he said cause he would smoke a couple also. He hates my pv so he has started dipping  .
That pack of cigarettes got tossed when we got off the canoe, no it wasn't only cause they were soaked and unsmokeable, LOL. | |
