Ok, so I'm probably going to be laughed at, but I want to know about these "Health E-Cigarette Electronic Cigarettes". Ya know, the kind that come in a box that resembles an actual cigarette pack... the charger is built right into the box... they sell them on eBay???

Anyway, about two weeks ago, I was searching eBay and I ran across these. This is how I heard about e-cigarettes. From that day forward, I have searched and read a lot of forums about these e-cigs. I even bought a 901.

Although I like the 901, I am still interested in the other models. (I have a penstyle on order now). Basically, I am just wondering if anyone has ever tried these and what version/model are they? The cheapest I have seen them are like $20 free shipping on eBay. Kind of tempting to at least try them to say I have, ya know?

Thoughts?

EDIT: Ohhh, even cheaper now (probably equal to the quality, no less). $15.99 from Shanghai, China on eBay.

Flavor. Vapor. Quality. See why Johnson Creek is America's Smoke Juice.

I know the ones you are talking about. These:

Health E-Cigarette Electronic Smoke 6 Cartridge Refill - eBay (item 260355005018 end time Mar-01-09 20:02:37 PST)

They look like crap and probably work just about as well. I'm curious for an unbiased review as well. I'm sure they aren't worth the effort though.

Yup, those would be it! I couldn't figure out how to do a link. Anyone have 16 bucks they want to throwaway... I mean, for the sake of research? LOL.

Well, I am gonna put this out like this:

Everyone has their own preferences. I am in the process of collecting as many as I can and plan on doing a video review of every one I can get. (if anyone wants to send me one they don't like that I don't have PM me) But there seems to be a biiiig difference in preference. For example Intellicig's Evo. Many people like it. There is one person out there who LOVES it and swears by it. Then Parked (who does very good reviews) didn't get any throat hit. Sent it back twice. All 3 he didn't get a good throat hit... So is it good or does it suck? Well, both. It's preference. I had in my mind that all supermini's (like Health Ecig) suck. I tried Smokingeverywhere (which I hated) and met someone that liked it better than my 901.

I ordered(should be here tomorrow) a minifogger. I heard ALOT of people swear by it and love it. I met someone today that had one, first time I seen it in RL, and it looks beautiful. But he said he doesn't like it. In fact he likes PureSmoker's PeeWee. One that I never thought I would even try(if I had to pay). But seeing him smoke it, decent amount of vapor, and he prefers it over 901/minifogger.

So it is a preference thing. But to answer your question I have read a few reviews about health Ecig and they all pretty much said it sucked. But for $15-$20 is it worth a try?

That's up to you. If I get one I'll review it with the rest and let you decide

I just watched two videos about that health e-cig!

YouTube - Health Mini

And what's actually inside the box:

YouTube - Inside

(spoiler: it's just a charger wrapped in a plastic casing)

You are absolutely right about the preference thing. And, I for one, would love to see your video reviews; I love all the ones out there, but I've probably watched them all. Since I am new to this ecig thing, I don't really have a preference per say. My 901 is a love/hate thing right now... so who knows, the 901 might not be my thing. I highly doubt the health e-cigs would be better, but one does not know until they try. Thanks for your perspective!

You can find these and a few other Health models on DX for quite cheap.

DealExtreme: Cool Gadgets at the Right Price - Site-Wide Free Shipping (Page 1)

They offer free shipping on everything, and have that exact model Health Cigarette for $15.25 including free ship. I believe KnutselPeter actually got that one from DX. There is another model for $17 that looks a bit better. Still I would not expect much.

The bridge on that atomizer is pretty ridiculous indeed.

I'd like to know what other ecig's would work with that case. I like the case, and like the built in charger(less wires to carry). Wonder if 901/peewee/what would work in it?

Also MarlboroMan if your love hate is because they work well then fail, you can try the approach I am thinking about. e-Smokey Treats - Welcome They offer a 3 month warranty on batteries and 6 month warranty on atomizers. For $20 more than most ($70 total) you get 2 atomizers. One fails you send it back while using other. Might be the way to go.

The love/hate thing is probably half me, half ecig. There is definitely a learning curve to these things, but on the other hand, they (at least mine) aren't consistant enough for me to want to switch completly to vapor. It will take a bit of time, and a lot of practice/experimenting to figure out how this thing will work for me. (I've only had it a week now.)

EWWW.... LOL.

IF (a big if) I got one, I probably would figure out how to drip. The standard carts I have tried suck anyway. Plus I am a menthol smoker, so regular flavored cigs don't do anything for me.

But still... cat piss, EWWW.

Absolute Junk from what I understand. Most of them dont work. And the ones that do, form what I have heard, only half of those are able to be recharged. From what I hear they taste like crap too. Basically, they would be good for parties or something for the novelty. Thats it. Worse the NJOY by far. You want something else to try? Buy a usb passthru for your 901. Maybe get one of those m401's... Or a Screwdriver if you can afford it. Other then that, your pushing your luck... Not much out their works heheh. Oh yeah, or you could buy a "bling"... Those are fun and cool Do a search for them on the other forum.
