| I for one, think you made a really good choice. eGo is popular, and seems to have many satisfied followers. Might not be the last e-cig you buy. But a great start.
It has more battery life than the super duper extra long 808D-1 battery. Besides, just where in the world do you park an extra long, with an XL carto?
People that are both vertically and horizontally challenged probably shouldn't carry this one

That's one of the reasons I was thinking of going with the eGo. Since it's basically a 510, it's common and there's tons of stuff and options.
My plan B was the easy elegant - basically a cone style or big batt KR808D1. But, it seemed I'd be better off with the 510 variant since it's more common. the eGo seems super popular and I don't hear too many complaints. So, I hope I'm making the right decision. | I started with the Smokestik (4081) then got 2 KR808D-1 kits. I went through the batteries like they were nothing. I would have 3 smokesticks charging and working on the 808's. Or I would have 2 808's charging and waiting to charge the other 2. It was awful. I sent the smokesticks back and 1 808 kit back for a refund. I kept the other 808 because I got it so cheap it, it would actually cost me money to send back. If I start with an 808 in the morning, before lunch 1 batter down. Then by 2pm- both batteries down and charging. No extras now so I would have to wait for charging before vaping. Not good.
The ego 650 last me a day. The 900 lasts a day and a half to 2 days. I started using my 900 yesterday afternoon at 4pm. minus 5 hours sleep, it is still going strong at 8:45pm. Also has a better TH than the others. It also has a manual button so you are not cut off before you are ready. My others were automatics and it drove me crazy with the auto shut-off of 6 sec.
Of course, everyone's battery life will depend on their vaping habits. |

| Update:
I went with the Joye eGo. 2 kits, one with the mega attys and carts and one with the 510s. I find myself using the megas almost exclusively and the 510s on weekends or when at home because the carts are so much smaller. Got some juice from each of the vendors that I got the kits from. My favorite so far has been the fire and ice from PureSmoker. But, I'm just starting off. I have some Backwoods Blend coming in the mail. And looking to get some backup mega attys just to hold on to.
Thanks again for the help! |

Thanks again for the help! | The eGo is a good choice. I have the 650maH model and I get a couple days out of a full charge, anyway. If you got the 1100 model it would be good for at least an entire day of vaping, maybe more.
The 650 works well with cartomizers, too, and makes the 2 ohm carts act almost like a real ciggie.

| The 650 eGo is working out well for me. The battery lasts at least a day. I have only once used a battery until the light started blinking. I leave the house with a full cart and carry another just in case. Sometimes I use the second one on the way home from work. But, I'm generally good on one cart over a 9 hour work day.
Using some Backwoods Waffle right now. How the heck did they get that buttery waffle and maple syrup flavor in there? Mind boggling... |

Not batteries required, and that saves my eGo for when I'm not in the car. I also have the same wired into my computer power supply, so I don't hardly ever use batteries.
If one of the power modules ever gives up and shorts out, I'll give you all a review on 12V vaping...
